My husband and I dined her on Friday night. It wasn’t really crowded for a weekend, and we chose to sit at the bar. I ordered... an SMASHED APPLE WHISKEY MULE. It was really good, and would go back for more! There were several drinks I would want to tryon future visits. We placed our appetizer and food orders. Our starters were fried pickle chips, and jalapeño poppers eggrolls. (Good, but ???? spicy). Our food came out really quickly, with my burger an APPLE JAM BURGER and husband’s PULLED PORKSANDWICH. I was only able to eat half my burger, because we just got too much food to finish. My husband ate his wholesandwich, but hadn’t eaten much of the appetizers and was hungrier than I was. The prices for drinks was a bit higher thanthe menu online is, but considering inflation over the past couple of years, it isn’t outside the range. Staff was good! They put us in a table in front of an window air-conditioning. It was freezing from me and my 7 year old. The... hostess was kind enough to turn if off for us... But the entrée was a disappointment. I got my son the grill cheese withoutmeat . The cheese was not even melted and he wouldn't eat it. I got the tips and ribs, the ribs were super burnt and I love me alittle char on my meat. But it was so burnt and over cooked there was not much to even savage and eat. Total disappointment! Idon't even know for the likes of me why they even thought it was okay to server? They tried to over sauce it to compensate forit being extra burnt. The rib tips wasn't to my liking. They were tender it's first place I've been to in New England and thetips was edible and I didn't have to spit it out because I coulnt chew it. But they were to sweet for my liking. I don't know ifthat's an New England thing but every place I had them, they were supper sweet. Again that's to my taste buds. I'm from NC andthe tips are more savory. This is my second time going! And I still haven't found anything to my liking. I wish they wouldbuy my rib recipe it's always been a hit at my catering and personal events. A request every time. Read more
The food was delicious, the waitress was attentive but not overbearing and even from inside the atmosphere was fabulous!... (Although they do offer outside seating). The restaurant is family friendly, and my 5 year old had a great time. Read more
Really Sweet Staff A few of us walked over tonight, and didn't know the kitchen was closing: The waitress gave us a minute to... review the menu anyway, and accommodated us even though we had sat down just at the cut off to order. We ordered the CoconutShrimp, Bacon Wrapped Pork Kebabs, and Berry Salad: All were delicious and made with care, despite us unknowingly coming in solate. First time and always been on my saved list for places to try. I had the pulled pork and omg it was delicious and the fries... where perfectly seasoned, no ketchup needed for those. Followed up with the peanut butter pie and omg peanut butter heaven. Read more
Certainly the staff is wonderful and the restaurant is inviting and comfortable. Being a fan of fish tacos from many Mexican... restaurants, I was excited to see this on the menu and give it a try. WOW! Three tacos practically filled with fish. With afantastic choice of baked or fried, I really enjoyed the baked that was dry rubbed. The pickled onions added a great taste,especially with someone like me. He doesn't like onions. I had a hard time finishing the third taco, but couldn't stop eating. Iwould like to see more assortment of soft drinks. Such as Maine Root Sodas. Not just "gun" sodas. Read more
