Ordered mobile and they forgot 3 items. Charged me twice for one of the missing items and messed up the order the second time I... went through the drive through. Really just not great. Diet soda was actually just flavorless brown soda water. Asked for no tomato...got tomato. Fries were... cold. Service was decent, but when you're serving bad and/or wrong food, not even pleasant employees can make it enjoyable. Should've known better when the McDonald's across the street had a drive thru line almost 20 cars deep (hence why we didn'torder there) and at this Wendy's we were third in line. This review is more for Wendy's corporation rather than the staff at this Wendy's in Dover. Putting in the double drive-thru... was not a good idea. It's terrible across the street at McDonald's, and it's no better here. What an absolute cluster. They wereshort staffed tonight so the lobby was closed. I sat in the drive through line for nearly 25 minutes to pick up a DoorDashorder. People were beeping, and at one point, the person in front of me started to get out of his car and I started to think hewas about to walk up to the window. If you're that short staffed, either close one of the drive-thru lines because they justcause more confusion, stop taking online orders, or just close for the evening. I felt terrible for the staff (who wereremarkably patient and amazing, so someone needs to give them some kudos), but I also felt bad for my customers who had to wait,especially the ones who weren't even waiting for Wendy's, as well as the other customers who had to sit in that line. Absolutenightmare. Editing this to add that today, October 15th, 2021 again I sat in this drive through for a customer for nearly halfan hour before the customer canceled, I wasted a half an hour of my life, my gas, not to mention how many other orders I missedout on during peak hours while doordash was offering an extra $3 a delivery. Their lobby is never open, that's how understaffedthey are. At the time I took the picture I'm posting there were probably 20 cars in line and by the time I bailed, easily sevenother cars had bailed.
