If you find this review helpful please thumbs up! First a note to new customers - apparently cheese is NOT included as part of... the pizza...you MUST order it as a topping! I ordered an XL pepperoni and sausage pizza and specifically asked for extracheese...I was informed there was an extra fee, but because it was a special it wasn't eligible...ok no big deal, I said I'dthrow the extra cheese on at home. I get home and surprise to me - no cheese! It was literally dough, sauce, pepperoni andsausage. Very disappointing - why wouldn't they tell me there was no cheese, when I clearly wanted cheese if I asked about extracheese??? The sauce was good, as well as the toppings. The dough was too soft and had no crunch (disappointing because otherreviews mentioned a crunchy crust). The staff was very friendly. The breadsticks were pretty good tho, those got devouredquickly. My only negatives was the lack of cheese which just really brought down the whole experience as a first time customerand the cost. For the cost I would not go back again, $22+ for dough, sauce, and 2 toppings with no cheese is just not worth itto me. They appeared very busy, so obviously I'm in the minority, but that was my experience and my take away. Read more

I was born and raised in Dover Ohio and for 19 years was lucky enough to get to eat Penso's as much as I wanted. Every time I... come back to my hometown that is always the one place I go and get an extra large extra cheese and pepperoni. I constantly craveand wish I could have it since I now live in North Carolina. I have tried Pizza all over the nation and I am telling you Penso'sis the best pizza ever created period. All of you who still are in Dover please remember how lucky you are to get to eat pencilswhenever you feel like it and feel bad for all of us who wish we could do the same. I am from out of town. Googled good pizza places in Dover. Looked at their website and pizza looked so good. Ordered a medium... and a large. The photos did not disappoint. The large one was cut in squares and medium like a normal pizza. Both have adifferent consistency but both were so good. It was covered in topping and the sauce is amazing. My favorite thing to do whenout of town is visit local homemade pizza places. This one is in my top 5. Would definitely come back!! Read more
Penso's is my favorite pizza. It's not like any other Pizza. The crust is thick and chewy and it's always delicious ????
