I have never had a bad meal at the Timberline. The walleye and perch are my favorite items, but the fried chicken is also... delicious. At our most recent visit, our server, Ann, was very attentive but not overly friendly. My husband had escargot as hisappetizer and raved about it. I had the coconut shrimp, which was excellent. Cooked to perfection. He had perch and I hadwalleye. Both were cooked perfectly, arrived hot, and were perfectly seasoned. They have a nice pour for wine (the glass wasalmost full). Perfectly prepared food, good but very slow service, very high prices, small portions.
We went here for the first time based on the reviews my husband read online and I?m so glad we did. From the moment we walked... into the door until the moment we left we were made to feel like the most important people in the place. The food was very good.I had walleye and got 2 large pieces and it was SO good! My husband got the lake perch and said it was some of the best he everhad. We will definitely make the 45 minute trip again in the future. Very good!!! Read more
