Might be mexican but not good mexican food. Food was tasteless, when ordering my quesadilla I was asked if I wanted meat.. I... guess making the choice sealed the deal. The "meat" taste was comparable to Canned Tuna boiled Chicken. Hands down worstquesadilla iv ever had in my life... Best thing there is the sauce. Read more

Place is a joke! Food was really good the one time I actually got to eat there. They say all over that they're open at 11am but... people have literally walked away at 11:45 because the doors still weren't open. Read more

It was a cute local eatery. super nice owner. Our streak burritos were ok. We had to wait quite a long time for them to be... prepared. Unsure why as not busy. I think a sidewalk sign or something to attract attention might be good for business, as youreally don't see the storefront from the street. Thanks Read more

Love this place and the people who work to make it great. Moving from San Diego to the Chicago suburbs made it hard to find that... good Mexican cuisine we loved, especially when looking for ?California Burritos? that were nowhere to be found in the Midwest.Alfredo not only makes the best Mexican food but he is also one of the friendliest people in Downers Grove. We ordered 12burritos the other day for my husband?s birthday party, many with different customizations, and they all came exactly asordered. He even threw in a happy birthday dessert!! Highly recommend Alfredo?s for many reasons, but you just have to try theirCalifornia Burrito!! Read more

I wanted to like this place especially from reading the reviews. I got flautas, guacamole and enchiladas. Enchiladas were ok,... edible- but very little seasoning and salt. I added the hot sauces that had the heat but no flavor at all. I made my way to theflautas and that?s where the real comedy started. I?ve never in my life had soft, greasy flautas. They?re supposed to becrunchy. I then opened the guacamole to find it was more of an onion and tomato salad with a teaspoon of avocado lol. Picturesattached. Seriously if you?re looking for good Mexican food, this is not the place. And for comparison, I?d say try Taco Bellbecause at least you?ll spend less but actually get the crunch and seasoned food.
