Wonderful restaurant with very authentic decoration and Uzbek style tapchan (sitting arrangement). Food is delicious, mastava... and Kazan kebab is the ones that must try. Highly recommended for birthdays, events and gatherings. Very cozy and welcomingatmosphere. Read more
Extremely good traditional uzbek dishes. Generous portions and fresh bread made in-house. Very good loose leaf tea (not bagged).... Good small touches like table vinegar and nice seating. Staff is very friendly also, would love to come back and try more oftheir food Read more
Tried this place out for the 1st time. Not everything on the menu was available though, but food was good: Tried the Uzbek Plov... and the Kazan kebab both were really good. But really small portions for the price. Note to the management: check out otherethnic restaurants in the area and use their portions and prices as guidelines. Ambiance is just ok. No complimentary bread oranything. The restaurant is still somewhat new and ethnic (not a lot of people are familiar with central Asian food) you need tohave menus with pictures, either complimentary bread maybe upfront or tea after, this is a good strategies to introduce thecuisine and attract customers. 3 stars because of the portion and prices. The indoor atmosphere was very pleasant, however the food is not flavorful at all and it's way overpriced. For 3 pieces of lamb,... with no flavor, it was 20 dollars. The people are friendly, and the decor is nice, but the food severely lacks based on theprice. Make the food better first, then the decor, not the other way around.
