10/10 for the service and drinks! This place has amazing servers/bar staff, but their menu was trash. We ordered 4 different... dishes and none of them were good. The appetizer was decent. Just visited Illinois and Osteria was recommended by a friend. It did not disappoint. I HIGHLY recommend this place. The hostess desk was not occupied. Waited 5 minutes then asked bartender how do we get seated as we had a reservation. He got... someone to seat us outside like we requested. After waiting outside for 20 minutes had to go inside an ask bartender again forhelp. Waited another 3 minutes and got disgusted. Called another local restaurant and they said come on in and they would seatus right away. Told waitress who was just coming out that this was ridiculous and we were leaving. The menu is a bit limited but My server was amazing and went out of his way to help! The food was good but a piece of my... chicken was not completely cooked. And in all honesty I feel the price is a little high.... plus the gratuity 18% is alreadyadded to your bill which i feel is bogus...I tipped my server additional because he deserved it but the people I was with didn't and both commented on they didn't because it was already included or they would have tipped 20 to 25%. Restaurant recently reopened and I couldn't be happier! I just booked our Mother's Day tickets after witnessing the massive... brunch they had for Easter. We stayed in the hotel Easter weekend and heard they were sold out. Luckily, we had the opportunityto eat the night before....I can't wait to be back next month.
