My first time visiting this wonderful place. I drove 3 days ago from Louisiana and before leaving Illinois, decided to stop here... and let me tell you: this is the best way to say goodbye before returning home. Elsa is an excellent employee, she was verykind, empathetic, helpful, a friendly person and delivering a great customer service during our first time here. Victor wasgoing above and beyond while serving us, he's an amazing employee as well. The food was delicious and good portions of food. Abeautiful restaurant with a warm environment. I saw a post on Facebook for halal Mexican . So everything here is NOT HALAL. Only the chicken is. I tried the barria chicken... taco. They were super good. A bit hesitant about cross contamination now that I think of it. (8-4-22 edit) the owners repliedand stated that the lamb is also halal. Read more
This place had a nice vibe and some good veggie options. I loved the sweet potato veggie filling. The nacho taco was my favorite... but a little hard to eat. Only complaint is that they don't give you chips & salsa with your meal, which is disappointing for amexican place. Read more

first off, HALAL!! Amazing food and really good service. The tacos are spot on and they know their spices. Tip: take habanero... sauce only and only if you can actually handle spice. It's HOT All in all, a definite place to visit over and over Read more
I ordered 3 quesa birria tacos which may have been the best I’ve had in Illinois. They were stuffed! I could only finish 2,... the leftover one plus the leftover consomme was the perfect snack. The staff was all wonderful and friendly. I’d come back anytime I’m in the area. Read more
I thought the food here was great. The menu is a bit overwhelming with options but I had spotted some birria tacos on google... reviews and wanted to give that a try. Overall I'd say I was not let down. Ended up doing 4 birria tacos and it comes servedwith a side of dipping meat stew / soup that you can dunk for each bite. While the exterior probably could've been crispier, itwas still a delicious bite. My wife had grabbed a burrito and a taco as well. What's nice is that it's setup Chipotle line stylewhere you can pick out your meats and fillings/toppings. Overall the quality of ingredients is much better and you won't bedisappointed the selection of different fresh salsas and beverages (horchatas, mexican cokes, etc.). I think the only thing Ican note is that the staff running is a bit lean. While we were the only ones there initially, the place got hit with a dinnerrush of guests which created a decent line.
