I?ve been here in the past with my family. The food was good. However, we went recently and their was hardly anyone there. It... was very quiet inside. Nobody greeted us or said a word. When we walked in my youngest sister was with us and the manager cameout yelling and made a nasty comment to her in a very rude way. When we asked to speak to the manager (not knowing the woman whoaddressed my sister was the manager), my mom politely told her she didn?t appreciate the way she spoke to my youngest sister andwe?d be taking our business elsewhere. The manager replied very rudely with Attitude and simply said, ?okay that?s fine have anice day?, very sarcastically. It?s sad that this homey restaurant may not have as many customers bc of the POOR managementskills this woman has. I hope Frantones does better and rethinks who they put in this position next. The food is ok. It's a great place for kids/ families, noisy, decently priced, order before you sit. The garlic bread is pretty... tasty and the best part is the dough balls for dessert... we ordered the mushroom sauce lasagne, thinking it was vegetarian. Itwas not. I finally decided to give Frantones a try. I ordered a Medium pepperoni and cheese pizza, i asked for the crust to be crispy.... They got it right and the pizza was great. It's way better than that other pizza place on Florence. I will come back. Read more

Funky old Italian restaurant - reasonable prices for food that is pretty average when all is said and done. Nothing really... spectacular about it but it tasted fine. I liked the atmosphere more than anything else. I hate all these trendy Spago-typeItalian restaurants out there and vastly prefer the older ones like this. Read more

Wow very good service and the food love the coliflower crust

Just as good as the first time I ate there 50 years ago. The decor and enormous wall menu in the entry area are the same as... always. It's like going into a Time Machine! The sausage and onion pizza tonight was great! I love their pizza. Read more

The food was served quickly and taste great. The service was good also.

It's not a five star restaurant, but it is an old classic. The food is really good, along with the fact that they give you... enormous portions! So you really as if you are getting your money's worth. I don't however like that for such a huge place thatis a sit down restaurant, I feel that I had to take away one star just for the cafeteria feel you get, when you get scolded fornot ordering your food before you sit down.
