We went in as a party of 4 at 11am on a Saturday and were seated in about 15mins. Our table was close to the kitchen and while... we were waiting we were observing one of the employees that was taking the order tickets and checking the plates of food foraccuracy when they came out to go to the table. I can't say for sure what the process is but it looked as if she was working twostations. Not only would she catch items that were incorrect and have the cooks fix it but she was also was fluent in Spanish.Her speed was impressive. Our meal was delicious as it usually is. I now live in San Diego and look forward to breakfast atNorms when I can get it. Before leaving we had to ask the general manager for the employees name that impressed us. Her name wasKarol with a K. We complimented her and let him know she is an outstanding employee. It's great when you see people like Karolwho do an excellent job and make it look so easy even when they are slammed with customers. Give that girl a raise ???????? Read more
I was so disappointed with my experience at this location. Norms was my go-to place for years. It was always so reliable. I... traveled a good distance to visit some friends and this is where they wanted to go to eat. I thought it would be nice to visitonce again. We all sat down, looked at the menus, and we were quick to choose what we wanted. Our server was very nice and shepromptly took our order. We were enjoying our conversation when our food was ready, and we were just as ready to eat. My plate"looked" good but once I started cutting my country fried steak I thought I was having to cut through beef jerky. I didn't wantto make a big deal out of it because everyone was enjoying their meal. I ate what I could but obviously didn't finish my meal.When we were all done, my friend did notice how much I left on my plate. What I didn't know is that she told our server after Igot up to go pay the bill. The server came and did look concerned as I was paying the manager and all he had to say was, "well,just remind me the next time you come in." My comment to him was, "well, we know how that goes." Fast friendly and delicious.. perfect restaurant
Norms is my favorite of the other breakfast chains. However, this particular experience wasnt great. Do yourself a favor and... stay away from the ribs. I had to send them back they are so bad. They were really tough and cold. I will just stick tobreakfast here. Read more
Norms restaurant have been serving great food 24/7 more than 50 years. My wife and I always come to Norm's for breakfast,lunch... or dinner at any time of the morning in the afternoon or late at night. Read more
Been awhile since I've been here. Our Server today was Austinn J. I recognized him and know. He's a veteran in that restaurant.... I feel Very privileged. I had the grilled salmon fillet. (Tasty) What I like about this NORMS. It definitely has a familyrestaurant feel. The crew is very upbeat and positive most of my visits. Would I go back? Although I'm not a frequent flyer.Most definitely would go back and recommend. Read more
