Stopped here after a round of golf at a nearby golf course. Was pleasantly surprised at the terrific selection of food. Ate in... the bar area and was waited on by the bartender who was great. Food arrived quickly and the drinks were spot on. Will be backsoon. Lorenzo approved! Read more
My family and I went here for lunch after seeing how highly reviewed it was on google, and we were left extremely confused. Did... we eat at the same restaurant? I don?t mean to be rude, but it had to be one of the most disappointing meals I?ve had in recenthistory. The French onion soup was swimming with oregano to the point where that was the only flavor present. The cheese servedon the side of the Bavarian pretzel and cheesesteak egg rolls was straight out of a can. I will say the fish and chips werefine, and everything else was mediocre but not overtly offensive. Our waitress was a sweetheart, and from the reviews we read itseems like the locals really like the staff, so at least they?re doing one thing right. Also, it?s worth mentioning that we weretold they were short on kitchen staff that day, but overall we would not go back. Stopped to grab a bite to eat while traveling. Atmosphere was really nice with a small town feel (ate in the dining area, not... the bar) Server was amazing; friendly, polite, checked up on us, overall great experience with the staff. Asked for bison burgerto be medium rare, but it came out a bit more rare than I expected (photo). Even with that, the food was great (well preparedand tasty)...I could hardly wait to take a picture of it before diving in and eating (yeah I took a bit). Salad was fresh andtasted good too! Also found out we got to sit at the table next to the owner of the place (he was super friendly and courteous).If we're back in the area, we would stop here again, and I recommend you do too! Took my family for the first time. The atmosphere was warm and homey. I felt like I was part of the neighborhood. The staff was... nice and food came out prompt. The loaded nachos were loaded and better than most places. My steak was better than expected.Prepared right and super tender. The kids meals were good portions and they ate everything.
