Very little flavor and seasoning in most items: clear soup instead of miso soup with hibachi, weakly favored hibachi sauces and... salad dressings, unseasoned veggies/meats. Good if you aren't used to Japanese food or have a kids with less adventuroustastes, perhaps, but couldn't hold up to hibachi style food in the city. Read more
We order from here often through doordash and usually don't have an issue. Today we had multiple issues with our order, sushi... roll incorrect, dumplings cold, no chopsticks. I called the restaurant to politely explain the issues. They agreed to remakethe food. When I asked if they would deliver it to me the woman mumbled something and hung up the phone. This place is sooo good. They have really good shrimp tempura, and amazing sushi. Their clear soup is also very good
Got two rolls to-go on a Friday night about 30mins before they closed. Absolutely delicious and fresh. I've gotten takeout at... many sushi places in the area (Exton, Dtown, Lionville, Malvern, etc.) and this place takes the cake. Bravo. Read more
First of all, 3 rolls for $13.95 is unbeatable. But better than that, they are seriously tasty! The spicy rolls have a really... balanced flavor. No additional wasabi was necessary. And the Philly roll was also well balanced. The TV was quiet enough that Icould tune it out and watch my kdrama. I see myself visiting again in the future. Read more
When I first walked in I love the look of the restaurant. We were seated right away. My daughter really wanted sushi and I... wanted to try General Tso chicken. We saw the sushi pizza and thought it would be a fun app. The pizza sushi was great! Thesalad that came with the meal was normal for sushi places. There was one big slice of tomato that was mushy and not veryappetizing. But the rest of the salad was ok. My daughter thought her sushi was good. The wasabi and ginger for the sushididn't seem very fresh or good quality when I tried it. I like both on my sushi so it has an impact on the over all flavor ifthey are not sharp clean flavors. I got the hot tea which was good. The waitress was attentive in keeping it full which Ireally liked. I asked for my General Tso chicken really really spicy. They delivered with lots of hot peppers in the dish, I wasimpressed. It has presented nicely with garnish and the steamed broccoli was prepared well.
