Found this place on a random motorcycle ride. First impression, the place is super clean, friendly welcome, and very modern... look. We sat at the bar and ordered some appetizers. We got the kielbasa dip that came with a delicious seasoned bread. The bartender recommended and thank God she did, it was amazing! My wife had the deviled eggs and they were ok. Interesting flavor notbad not great but good. For the main course I got the 4 sausage meal with 4 different types that I could not remember other thanthe kielbasa and the bratwurst. 3 of the 4 were good, sadly the brat was dry. My wife had the pork Schnitzel. That was verywell cooked. Nice and crispy with a very good bacon jelly that was super savory and went well with everything. Our bartender wasreally nice and gave great recommendations. Will definitely be back by here next time we're in the area. Read more

If your looking for authentic German cuisine, this is the place to go. We love bringing friends here from out of town, food is... great, staff is friendly, and they generally have some pretty good drink specials. IMO the best thing on the menu is the Germanstyle cheese burger, get two, they are small. Prices recently went up but it's worth every penny. Read more

Devil’s Acre & Maxwell’s on Main (MOMs) are owned by the same people, and they are two of my favorite places to frequent in... Doylestown. Both establishments are excellent for sit down casual dining. I like the Devil’s acre for its German inspiredfaire. The selections of German beer on tap are great, and they have wonderful cocktails (we had a house old fashioned & thefull acre Bloody Mary and both were very good) I usually keep it simple and get either the 4 links platter or the hot dog. Thesteak fries are some of my favorites. The pub pretzels, kielbasa dip & wings are can’t miss appetizers. Whether you’recelebrating an occasion or you’re just in the mood for good German inspired food, this restaurant is worth patronizing ifyou’re in or near the Doylestown area. Prost! Read more

Great menu of American and German food. Kids loved the burgers and hot dogs. German sausages and kraut were delicious!! Kids mac... and cheese was some of the best we've ever had! Thick cut french fries were great. Fantastic craft beer menu as well! Greatservice and a pleasant outdoor space to top it off. One of our best dining experiences in a long time. Read more

Our first meal here! Each wurst on my husbands platter had a distinctive flavor. The sauerkraut is aromatic with mustard seed... and very flavorful. My onion soup was delicious and the green salad with poppyseed dressing and blue cheese, fresh, crisp andsatisfying! The house merlot and Downeaster IPA, went well with our selections. The staff is friendly, efficient andaccommodating! Read more
