Whoa, seriously delicious! Baked oysters were wonderful and an unexpected surprise. The poisson soupe brought me back to... Marseille, and the chicken liver was heart-warming and perfectly balanced with the crepe, corn and cream. I do have to say thatI didn?t love the beef tartare, but it doesn?t matter as everything else was great. Good wines by the glass and super friendlyservice made for a nice dinner during a weekend away in Doylestown. Just be aware that it is not cheap to dine here - dinnerfor a family of four was just over $200. Read more
Great meal last night. Great experience overall. Sound cooking, skate was perfect, and that dark chocolate-orange ice cream,... still grinning from it. Proud to have a restaurant with a kitchen/chef/chefs cooking so fundamentally sound in our town. Service(Jared I believe sorry if it's not, hope I'm close at least) was tops. Been going here for years with my date and also with professional girlfriends and even brought friends from out of town. 9 out... of 10x sat at the bar, had drinks, and always ate at the bar, occasionally at the table. Last week after the car show agirlfriend and I walk in, and there are 7 empty seats at the bar and multiple tables. The madame stops us from sitting at thebar, would not allow us to sit at the other bar seats either; told us we had to have a reservation to sit at the bar. She toldme that policy started 3 yrs ago. Not true! I sat at that bar 3 yrs ago and beyond. She was rude and arrogant. She made us feelnot good enough. Did she not like 2 women sitting there? Did she think we wouldn't spend money? Worst French restaurant l have been to in my life. The server was very rude and if she had worked for me, I would have fired her... on the spot!
