I love Costa Vida and their food. I don?t know if they just don?t answer phones and that?s normal or what, but they DO NOT... answer the phone and I understand if they get busy it would be hard but you should be having at least one person sitting by thephones to answer calls. i?ve called them a dozen times and no answer and it?s getting really frustrating. I'm sad about giving Costa Vida this review since this used to be my favorite restaurant and I went so often that the managers... gave me free drinks but the place just isn't as good as it used to be. They're clearly suffering from lack of workers with linetimes and with food preparation. The lettuce/salsa is often way too cold and watery and the food just generally tastes worst. They've upped the cost significantly so it's on par with Cafe Rio but Cafe Rio has much better quality of ingredients, tastesbetter, quicker service, and many more points/deals to the point that there's no reason to eat at Costa Vida rather than CafeRio just down the road. I ordered nachos with refried beans, sweet pork and no queso. I got black beans and it was smothered in queso. It looked like... someone vomited in a dish and served it out. Nachos is the easiest food to make but these guys can?t even get that right. Read more

While the Draper CV has historically been a good one, it seems to be slipping. The rice had about 3x too much cilantro,... overwhelming my burrito. In addition, the sweet pork was dry and tough. The service today wasn?t great, when I went in to pickup my online order, a worker asked for my name and checked the orders waiting on the rack. He told me it wasn?t ready. I waited5 minutes, when the cashier asked me my name and pulled my order which had been sitting there all along. I don?t know why theywon?t allow people to just check and pickup themselves. Times visited: 3+ This is a good Costa Vida location. The staff are helpful, it's usually pretty clean on the inside, and the... food quality hits the usual mark that it should, for being a chain establishment. The last time I visited, I felt really badfor the staff! It's very clear that they need some more help around the kitchen during rush hour. Seemed like everyone was doingmultiple jobs, scurrying around, you could feel the stress in the air. My chicken was definitely burnt on my salad and it took along time to move through the line. I think it has something to do with the mobile app too. Maybe they're just getting too manyorders at once? Feel bad for the staff. Hope they get more help soon! Read more

I made an online order for pickup during a lunch rush and they were PACKED in here, and every single employee was hustling. It... did take a bit long for my order to come out, but the cashier at the front was very sweet and apologetic despite being sooverwhelmed. She was juggling the online orders as well as getting the people in line checked out, but she was on top ofeverything. The employees here are awesome. I would not have kept my cool as well as they all did ???? 10/10 I'm veryimpressed. Read more

In the Costa Vida / Cafe Rio wars there is a clear winner, and that winner is Costa Vida. They offer smaller plates as an option... and now serve limeade (which was a big reason to frequent Cafe Rio.) On their nachos they give you shredded cheese AND queso, while Cafe Rio only lets you choose one. And lastly, Costa has far fewer issues with order accuracy and consistency. Besidesthat the two chains are very similar. Read more

If you think minute rice is good then go here. The amount of food for the price you pay was disappointing and this was so... salty. Asian beef with waterfall salad. I guess the shredded carrot is the salad? I had other meals here that were better. Disappointed in this particular dish. Read more
