Always busy, this place has become a favorite of ours for breakfast and brunch for celebration of events. The staff is... friendly, even while clearly being very busy. delicious! such a good value - the food and portions are insane. We ordered the two egg breakfast for around $8, which was... massive and soooo good. The hot cakes were my favorite. The Heavenly Hot Cakes are famous for a reason. Very, very good. I also tried the corned beef hash and it was good. I didn?t... realize the potatoes in the hash were grated and aren?t my thing, which isn?t to say others won?t like them. The portions werelarge and the prices were reasonable, lower than I expected. Favorite breakfast on a Sunday morning. We love their pancakes and breakfast burrito. Great service, and if you check in on Yelp... and wait in the virtual queue, you know your place on line so you know when to arrive to avoid waiting in person to be sat. Read more
Staff didn?t check on me me once the entire time after I ordered. I would?ve liked to have more water with my meal and... condiments. Ended up asking for the check from some girls chatting behind the bar counter. Other than that, the food wasdelicious. I got the veggie wrap, sweet potato fries and a scone. We decided to try Penny Ann?s after reading reviews, and it did not disappoint at all. The stuffed french toast was incredible... and so delicious, and was definitely enough to be a meal by itself. However, I?m glad I ordered a side of biscuits and gray aswell because they were amazing. The gravy wasn?t too spicy like other restaurants tend to make it, and the biscuits were flakyand soft. My wife ordered the ?small? breakfast which was still massive, and she loved the food as well. Every aspect of themeal was cooked to perfection, and the service was spectacular. Read more
Good food, the wait time was short even though it was pretty busy and full. The Biscuits and Gravy were rich, the Frybread is a... must, I'd go there just for that alone. The Chile Verde could have used a bit more acidity (just my preference) but it was stillgood; and that Ham and Cheese... I mean for reference the Ham was thicker than the knife, it was picture worthy. Definitelywould go again. Read more
