The worst experience buying crabs from Capt Pat. Purchased two dozen #1 crabs and half of them were as light as paper shells. ... After driving there and back (35 min each way) to find out half the crabs were not # 1s. Called to let them know and ended up onthe phone with Capt Pat himself who basically told me I was a liar and to bring them back in for him to look at. I did bringthem back in and the staff was so great and when I told them I had talked to the owner and he said if I brought them back in hewould reimburse me. The lady helping me was so awesome and offered to stream me more crabs and even offered some tea or waterwhile I waited. Then Capt Pat came out in front of everyone in the restaurant and made a scene insisting the crabs were fine.I?ve been crabbing all of my life and these were far from #1 crabs. He continued to tell me off and then told the nice lady tojust give me my money back because he wasn?t giving me more crabs that wouldn?t be good enough. I was in shock over his tantrumand if anything, he humiliated himself. What business owner reacts this way to their customers. Since then I?ve heard so manynegative things about this man and his demeanor. Stay away and spend your money on crabs where your purchase is appreciated. Read more
The crabs were reasonably priced, and seasoned well. The mixed drinks were very good and the atmosphere on the deck was very... relaxing. I only knocked a star off because of the fact that when I went to pay my bill I was surprised with a $9.00 fee forpaying with a card, I think that should be on the menu or told to patrons before they pay, I only found out after paying andsigning final receipt Read more
Pretty good lunch menu. The soft shell crab basket was good except being too salty. The staff were friendly and service prompt.
2nd visit top notch customer service. Last time we had a group of 12 and we had a great time. This time we reserved for a group... of 40 and had a great time again! Captain Pat's doesn't miss a beat regardless of party size. A hidden gem with great food (withchoices for the non seafood type) in a great location with awesome staff and service!! Stopped by Captain Pat's Seafood today. Indoor & Outdoor seating option is very nice! Outdoor seating & bar overlooking the... water and swimming pool. Very quaint, fun, and family oriented. Such a fabulous little restaurant! Food was fantastic! Read more
The food is great. You can gorge yourself with fried food or choose the healthier side. I recommend the crab cakes with a local... beer. There is a lot of food, so save room for dessert. You could also just get the desert and pair it with a local Marylandwine. Lunch specials are a good deal. Read more
