Did not end up ordering. I understand requesting half no cheese is strange when you order pizza but the fact that this location... wont allow half no cheese on a pizza is ridiculous. Was driving by and saw they had reopened under new owners and staff? WOW!!!! Family owned and operated.. you can tell they care... about the quality of the product!!and their service, these days employees don?t even say hi to you anymore, they welcomed melike family! So you're in the mood for pizza......well what do you get? There are the fancy places, they use good, sometimes odd,... ingredients and they are okay but that's not really what you're craving. You didn't want overdone expensive fancy food, youwanted pizza. There are the dime a dozen franchises, you know what you're getting because they are all the same but thatdoesn't necessarily mean it's good. You eat it, the ingredients are low quality and you hate yourself for it after. The onlygood thing you can is that it was cheap and fast but you're not happy with it. That wasn't the pizza you wanted either. Thenthere are the independent places, most are just greasy slop fests but some are good. Problem is it's different every time, it'swhatever the owner decided to buy that week and whoever made it....the good pizza you had from them last week means nothing forthe pizza you ordered tonight and some of them have some pretty silly prices because being independent they can charge whateverthey want whenever they want. You didn't want to roll the dice you wanted pizza. So what do you do? Does a happy mediumbetween price, good ingredients and quality control even exist? Well....it does and I found it for you, the Papa Romanos inWaterford checks every box! It's a franchise so they have accountability, uniformity and good prices, it's a small company andindependently owned so they still care about the ingredients, service and the taste of their food plus it's a normal pizzajoint!
