Great ambiance and amazing food. Although the menu is small, there is great variety in the dishes being offered. The risotto was... the best I have ever had, it wasn?t heavy and had a great balance between smokiness and lightness (from the citrus). Definitelyworth a visit Read more

It is one of those places that force you to order everything up front, we hate that so much, we end up ordering less food &... drinks. Saints & sinners: it just tasted like lime juice The burbonist: watered down, doesn?t have much taste Smoked oldfashioned: it is OK Extra dirty martini: it was OK Texas kingfish aguachili: it was fishy and tasted like anchovies, it was toosalty as well Spanish octopus: it was great, could?ve used more sauce or a more salt Tomato & burrata: it was so fresh but mild, could?ve used a bit more balsamic vinegar Spicy Brussels sprouts: they were good Whole American red snapper: it wasn?t seasonedwell Carrot cake: it was too sweet Read more

My boyfriend and I came to Tillie?s for our anniversary dinner and it didn?t disappoint! Located on Camp Lucy, Tillie?s brings a... surprisingly elegant and satisfying meal. To start off, service was great, not too much to interrupt our dinner but enough tomake us feel welcome. We did things the non-traditional way but it turned out great. We started off with the rosemary focacciaand the burrata. The combination of the soft yet crusty bread, the acidity of the tomatoes, and the creaminess of the burratareally exploded in our mouths, delish. Then we got the Spanish octopus with the truffle spaghetti. An unexpected but lovelycombination of flavours. The octopus was perfectly cooked, not chewy at all and sign me up for anything truffle. We finished offwith the catch of the day which was snapper and that was probably the most underwhelming of the dishes. If I could do it again,I?d get another two starters, the mains are kind of typical and not as exciting. For dessert, we got the s?mores panna cotta andthe yellow peach sundae. Definitely get the sundae! It?s so balanced and not too sweet or too fruity. The panna cotta was alittle too dark for me and not enough streusel. Overall, definitely recommend for a nice dinner away from all the hustle andbustle of Austin. Read more

Tillies has a great Menu and fun drinks! This will be a bit on the pricier side but, I would consider the experience worth it.... We ordered the Spicy Brussel sprouts and it may have been our favorite item ordered! The entire menu has Gluten Free labels sothat is a big plus for me. The True Bird Smoked Chicken and Painted Hills NY Strip came next. The chicken was OKAY. It wasn'treally that great to be honest, but wow! the steak was amazing. It came with a side of potato's that were to die for. Just as aside note; the customer service was pretty bad. At least for our experience she hardly cracked a smile. People are going throughtough times and it didn't really bother us, we just took note. We did however catch a cool conversation between another customerand another waiter surrounding the history of this building. Pretty cool! Read more

Had the Best time Wednesday night, enjoyed the whole experience. The Staff was great from the moment we walk-in to our server... Tristan and Gabbi her assistant the service was spot on and the food was outstanding. From the appetizers to the salads and thenthe main course, it was an excellent marriage of flavors, leaving our palettes wanting more.... The Chefs made me realize justwhat it means to have food prepared from scratch, not your ordinary run of the mill meal, this was a full on blend of favors, working so well together. Great job Tillie's Can't wait to come back...... Read more
