I am so grateful we were able to spend some time here this past weekend when we were in Wisconsin. We got married and our whole... wedding party stayed at the inn, and frequented the trading post for breakfast and drinks. Everyone was so so helpful, alwayschecking in to make sure we had everything we need, and were very communicative throughout the process of booking and throughoutthe weekend. They handled all of our crazy with ease (including our constant and insane breakfast orders lol) and it was such ablast. On Saturday post-wedding, our group ended our night at the bar, and I want Mike to know how lovely and kind it was thathe stuck around for a while to make sure we were well taken care of. It truly rounded out the weekend and I?m so glad we had achance to spend that time with our friends. The trading post and Wilderness Inn are such a beloved place in Barnes and we can?twait to return when we are back in town. It holds a special place for us now too. Really good food the staff is great the owners are amazing and they even have old Milwaukee NA beer my favorite!

This little honey pot I found while hanging with my friends in Wisconsin. I got a chance to meet the owner Nadia as she and her... husband are very much a part of the day-to-day operations. The staff was very kind, patient, and helpful. The staff along withNadia made sure my guests and I were always satisfied. I ordered the barbecue chicken pizza, and my friends ordered the Hawaiianpizza, and the cordon blue pizza. All of the pizzas were perfect, and the mixed drinks were as well. I think what I liked mostabout this establishment besides the wonderful food and service is the fact that they also have a game room in the back so aftereating you can either playing pool or arcade games. This place is definitely a great find, and when the food and service are asgood as they are here I wouldn't look to go anywhere else. We stopped for breakfast on our weekend getaway to Wisconsin. We had a long day on the Harley planned so we first enjoyed... excellent breakfast drinks, tasty omelets and french toast. Even before our motorcyle break down the staff was very attentive toour needs and wants. After finishing our meals, we planned to hit the road but found we had a problem with our bike, so wecould not leave. We became ?stranded, ? but the bartender made several phone calls to line us up with a repairman. He went farabove and beyond any expectations. We stopped by for lunch today and had the most wonderful burgers! My husband had the Black and Blue Burger with cheese curds,... and I had the Bear Burger (which had cream cheese and green olives) with onion rings. The burger buns tasted homemade, and weresooooo good! Fun atmosphere, tasty beers, great service! We will be back soon! Read more

What a fun weekend at the Trading Post! We stayed in the Loon room and it was perfect (very clean)! We got drinks and dinner... every night at the bar and had an absolute blast! Beer kept flowing, pizza and food was great, and we watched gopher hockey andKU basketball on one of the numerous TVs per our request (Elliott was great to make the place feel like home and help us findthe channel we were looking for). Can't forget the pool and Big Game Hunter tournaments we had too, they've got arcade games, agreat pool table, and jukebox... the Trading Post it worth a stop! Read more
