There were melted bread tags in 2 out of the 5 poutines that our family ordered. Yes melted plastic bread tags! The manager... didn't charge us for these 2 poutines. We felt this was an unsatisfactory way to address the situation. We have been loyalcustomers for 25+ years, it was our favorite go-to place for poutine, We won't be going back. Read more

I was on my way back from Quebec City, wanted to try this place because I love Poutine! Unfortunately the poutine did not live... up to its expectations. The poutine sauce was overly sweet and it tasted odd. The cheese was on point, but the sauce was ano-go. I do hope the owners take my review into consideration and work on the poutine sauce because they could definitely hitthe mark if they work on the sauce. Read more

For the "inventor" of poutine, this poutine was a complete let down. The sauce was sickening sweet (something really off about... it) and the fries were mediocre. The cheese they used was the only good thing (thank God). This was worse than St-Hubert andBenny & Co and I thought those poutines were horrible, this place takes the award for the worse poutine. I will definitely notbe going here again or would I recommend anyone else to. NY Fries poutine and the Orange Julep is by far way better than this.My recommendation: Save your money and go somewhere else. Read more

We had the French pepper and the Italian poutine and I was disappointed with both. Not an Italian sauce and not a French pepper... sauce in my opinion but the fries and cheese were great so was the service. Read more

I ordered the Authentic poutine, my husband ordered the 3 meat one, a d our son ordered a pogo and fries. Everything is... delicious. I've noticed a lot of English-speaking people who've ordered here say the poutine gravy taste off. It tastes fine tome, but I was raised as Franco-Ontarienne, so I'm used to poutine gravy. If you've never had poutine I'd suggest getting beefgravy in case if you're not feeling adventurous. Otherwise, everything tastes delicious. Also, if you don't speak French have nofear, the staff speak in English as well. This is my third time coming here over the past 12 years and I love it each time.Merci beaucoup pour la savoureuse poutine Roy Jucep! Read more

The poutine is just okay, not amazing. Fries could be cooked a little more, gravy is a little sour. They might have invented the... dish but their recipes hasn't changed since 1964. In 2021, the market is very competitive and for a guy like me who's fromMontreal, the detour is not worth it at all. UPDATE: The poutine gave me an explosive diarrhea Read more

Gotta say I was disappointed. The poutine was so close to being great but the sauce was off-putting; too sweet or something odd... that I couldn't put my finger on. Just couldn't eat it as a result. Slaw was great and chicken was good though. Read more
