Worst Waffle House ever. Stopped in at 6:40am. Ordered a coffee while deciding what I wanted, then the waitress never came back.... I patiently waited, and finally asked for a refill and told her I was ready to order. To which I was told it was "almost" shiftchange. She apparently failed to mention to her relief that I was waiting to order. At 7:15, I just decided to cash out thecoffee and leave. ***Update*** I was contacted by a representative from corporate the very same day, and recieved a sincereapology. So while my initial review stands, I will say that corporate DOES take complaints seriously, and they will be coachingthis location on customer service. I totally respect the way they handled this. I believe it was a Yolanda that contacted me. SoI just want to say thank you. And I truly hope this location in Dry Ridge can learn from this, and be successful in their futureendeavors. Read more
well we tried to call for take out- no answer. i get it, it?s late, so we go in to order our take out. we sit and don?t even get... looked at for maybe 30 minutes. we then proceed to order our take out, an hour goes by and no one has come to tell us a wordabout our order. we see a bag sitting on the counter, it was ours after getting up and going to the register to ask how muchlonger our order will take. we still have 2 waffles to be added to the bag along with chocolate milk. after reminding them forthe at least 3rd time about what we were still missing, the waitress who took our order decided to hop in and make a blueberrywaffle. well she made it incorrectly, by adding the blueberry?s to the waffle after taking it out of the waffle maker instead ofadding it to the mix. while all of this is happening the cook comes to check us out, drops our card, picks it up and then goesback to cook others orders with the same gloves. i am not hard to please, but this was absolutely the worst service i have everexperienced in my entire life. not at ALL worth the 3 hour wait to get our food. After having a horrible experience at Cracker Barrel and leavig without getting our food for over and hr wait, going to the... Waffle House was a very nice experience. Our waitress (wish I knew her name) was so polite, fast and sweet. Loved her southernaccent. I didn?t mind a bit giving her a tip. Food was delivered fast, hot and good. 5 stars all around. -5 stars for CrackerBarrel. Read more
I am a cook here and this is definitely one of the cleanest stores and most staffed in boone and grant county. The manager is... awesome and does an awesome job and the servers are just as great even if your just getting coffee! Read more
I ordered the sausage egg & cheese bowl with hash brown. As soon as my waitress put the food on my table I noticed that 1 in... long black hair in my food and then I seen the long hair in my food- I didn't eat it-I was ready to leave,plus I had my familywith me only God knows what was in there food. Went last night..it took waitress 20 mins to come to our table and the first 15 she didn?t even acknowledge us. Once she took... our order she was nice and the cook brought our food. Waffle was smaller than we expected but everything taste fine. Read more
Let me start off by saying that we loved this place so much we spent 6 and 1/2 hours here... I'm not joking. We were on vacation... and our rental car broke down so we literally were stuck at this waffle House but that wasn't a bad thing.... I'm only justbeginning. I must say that the service and the food was very good. I've never had a pecan waffle before and it was mighty tasty.Eggs were cooked to perfection, and what you guys do to hash browns is amazing! I want to give a special shout out to the ladywho took care of us the majority of the time that we were there. Ava, thank you so much for making us basically feel likefamily. Thank you for giving my son money to put into the jukebox so that we can play the Amazing Waffle House songs over andover and over... LOL! Thank you to you and your partner in crime actually I can't remember his name I'm sorry but he did awonderful job too, and a pretty good cook if I might say so myself. Being here for so long we had breakfast and we also hadlunch which consisted of Patty melts which were very good. The hospitality that you all showed towards us was amazing. You knewhow to take a bad situation and just make it comfortable. We have decided that every May 30th no matter where we are if we'reall together or not as we get older will be Waffle Day and no matter where we're at we will have waffles and think of ourfriends at the Waffle House. I would also like to give a shout out to the amazing man who followed us back to our hotel to makesure that the car was able to make it and that we got there safely, Ava please give your dad a hug and tell him again thank youso much. Food good! Wait staff handles everything from menus, Coffee pots, cash, cash register.... NEVER SAW ANYONE WASH THEIR HANDS OR... USE THE HAND SANITIZER. Watched a waitress removing all salt, pepper and sugar container lids to refill. Then she handled cashand went right back to handling the lids....not good. They need to use soap/water or hand sanitizer!!! Read more
