I was part of a group of 16 TJ Morris Sales Team (retired). One of our team lives in Dublin GA and handled all the arrangements... with the Saltwater Fishery folks. 1st and last visit. Our server Kayla was awesome! We both had blackened seafood, the seasoning was good, not too spicy. Both... plates of food was lukewarm at best, not how seafood needs to be served! The cheddar grits were cold, congealed and simplyunsalted grits with a small amount of shredded cheddar on top and not able to melt the cheese. Coleslaw was best thing I had,pretty sad for a seafood platter. Kayla was apologetic and provided a discount which was not necessary but appreciated. I hadhigh expectations but was highly disappointed. Neither of us finished our plates because the food was literally cold halfwaythrough. Shame, great location not really over priced but you will only serve me cold food once. Read more
They very accommodating for a large birthday celebration group. Food and service was absolutely great. Frontend Manager David... was great with the guest and staff. One of the best places i have eaten at in south georgia. I live in Dublin and love the local food. This is the first time ive... eaten here. And im a blown away. The portions may seem small but i assure you you will get your fill. The hush puppies are likefunnel cake, the calamari appetizer was great had a little spice but was delicious, i got the seafood platter and it may havelooked small but i am stuffed. I started eating and realized it was great enough i had to review it. So pardon the pics. Ourserver was Kayla D she was an amazing server. Her suggestions were spot on. I ordered the jumbo lump crab cakes, and I couldn't find any jumbo lump crab meat as it was mostly filler. The saving grace for... this appetizer were the fried green tomatoes the cakes were served atop. They were delicious. The hushpuppies were okay andcooked well, but as other reviews have stated they are sweet almost like funnel cakes. The shrimp n grits were horrible as theycame served in a 2" tall bowl which was almost filled to the brim in something that resembled a gravy soup or chowder more thangrits. I dug around for grits, but they're lost in all the liquid. Inedible. The broccolini side and veg du jour side (notpictured) were tasty, but floating in grease so they didn't serve the intended purpose of providing a freshness to the meal. Thechocolate lava cake was great. Just the right temp and gooeyness. Simple whipped cream and chocolate drizzle on theplate. Giving 3 stars for the great dessert and even better service I received. Five stars to help your business. As I’m a multi business owner. Hit or miss on the drinks at the roof top. After 5 visits... over time, I give the food a 3 star at best mostly on price, variety and taste. Again rooftop bar tender not well versed &attitude from the lead bar tender when I ask for a remake (didn’t get a remake, drink trashed, paid and ordered another drink,margaritas were good!
