This is a picture perfect ice cream shop in the middle of gorgeous historic Dublin, but not only that... The most important... thing is the ice cream. Stopped by for a quick dessert after having dinner down the street. Asked the locals at dinner for some recommendations and... they suggested Jeni's. That was a good recommendation. It was late so there were only 2 other people in line. This gave me afew minutes to pick from all the different flavors. The staff members were very friendly, greeted everyone as they came in, andasked for a minute between each order to wash their hands. Ordered 3 scoops consisting of Salted Peanut Butter, Banana CreamPudding, and the Pumpkin Cake Roll served in their homemade waffle bowl. You could definitely tell the ice cream was freshlymade and made with care. Each flavor had it's own uniqueness with a very rich flavor. I would only pick the Salted PeanutButter as my favorite since Peanut Butter will always be my favorite. I couldn't see going wrong with any ice cream flavorhere. The smell of fresh baked waffles greets you as you open the door, the warm welcome by the staff makes you feel appreciated as... you step up to the counter. I really wanted to get the full flight but remembered I was all by myself a d that would be alot.So I decided ti get the trio which is 3 flavors. I had mine in a waffle bowl because I could not resist the smell . I had thelavender, peanut butter a dairy free chocolate cake thing. The lavender was like standing in a field of flowers, the taste isso smooth and slowly melts I. Your mouth leaving a soft tingle of flavor and the aroma stays with you. The dairy free chocolatecake thing, honestly don't remember the name but I would have never known it was dairy free. The pieces of chorale cake andchocolate swirl were amazing, this is no cheap chocolate, in my opinion it has a better taste then giradelli (I know that's notspelt right). Finally the peanut butter and I am a peanut butter lover, this has lead to my instant regret of not coming insooner rather then my last day. I will look I to ordering online and having it shipped to me!!
