Reviews for La Chatelaine French Bakery and Bistro in Dublin, OH

I go here every time I'm in Columbus visiting my cousins. It's pricy, but it's so good. I always get a Croque Madame (French... bread, Bechamel, Gruyere, & ham baked sandwich topped with an over easy egg), French roast coffee, and some kind of dessert orpastry (this time chocolate mousse). As you can see in this photo I spent $28, so it's definitely a splurge for the experiencetype of situation here (at least for me, I couldn't bring myself to regularly spend that much on a single meal even if I couldafford it.) The coffee is fantastic. It's $4 and they have to-go cups (which they let me take a cup to go even after drinking anunhealthy amount while shooting the breeze with my cousins and a friend in the restaurant). If you're a Starbucks person (I amnot) I think you're used to spending that much or more for your coffee, so you may want to stop to get your cup here one day tosee if you like it better. Read more

Always a treat coming here! My kids and I adore their French toast. But, I love getting the salty&sweet breakfast which is half... order of French toast w eggs and bacon....drooling. The French Cafe style roast coffee is incredible too. After each time I takemy first sip while sitting down, I automatically wish this place was closer to me so I could come every single morning. I?ve been coming here since I was 11. The owner is from France . His son Enzo is kind . The staff is always friendly. Diafoe is... a great manager / worker . I love their bakery . Chocolate mouse is the best . Good quiche. Croquet Monsieur . I love the placefor dinner in October . Boujleau or however you spell it wine ??. It?ll be fun for the World Cup . Allez France ! Had the cinnamon raisin croissant and the croque monsieur, also tried my friend's spinach brikette, they were absolutely... delicious. Staff were friendly and answered our questions. A hidden gem for sure. To find this gem, I did a Goggle search...I had the French Toast & Hot Chocolate. The Hot Chocolate is... homemade with rich milk Chocolate!!! This place is a real gem in Columbus. La Châtelaine pulls through on every occasion with some good speciality baked... treats.
