We went here for our anniversary dinner and it was amazing! Happy hour drink prices are great, I got a sangria for $5. We shared... a steak and cheese appetizer that was delicious for only $10. They gesticulating provided white wine since it was ouranniversary. We started on the patio but moved inside when it rained and the service was seamless. Decided on Vaso for an anniversary dinner as we had heard quite a bit about how nice it was. From a visual perspective, it was... very nice. Sweeping lines, modern furniture, a lot of windows to give an unobstructed view of the river and surrounding area,downtown Columbus off in the distance. We were warned that we could not reserve the patio and it was an option when we came in. Glad we didn't reserve because it wasn't windy at street level, but there was a stiff breeze blowing on the rooftop. The staffwere very attentive, but rotating - There were probably six or seven people who visited the table over the course of the mealwith only our original waitress stopping by twice. We ordered drinks to start (interesting VASO logo melted into the cube in mycocktail) and the olives. A nice mix of olives, but for the size of the small bowl, it seemed a bit overpriced. We also hadthe Thai chicken meatballs and the street tacos. Both were colorful dishes, but taste-wise were only OK, with the Thaimeatballs tending towards a little bland. I enjoyed the food and the service here. The ambiance is beautiful on the rooftop. Ashley was a great server and very attentive.... The angry crab cakes were ok. They were supposed to be spicy but I think the only spice was from the pepper and not in the crabcake itself. The Brussels sprouts salad was a huge portion and delicious. This place is beautiful inside and out. We rented an igloo on Sunday night and while it was cold it was still lots of fun. The... food was good not spectacular but good. We ordered just about everything on the menu and nothing was awful. My least favoritewas the tuna tostadas and Thai chicken meatballs. The tuna itself was okay but it came on a wrap or rice paper that couldn’thold up to the wetness in the tuna dish so it got soggy fairly fast. The meatballs just had too strong of a flavor for myliking. Our favorite items were probably the lamb kebabs ( my kids asked for a second order of this) and the Brazilian cheesebread bites. All in all it was a great experience, the servers are attentive and I would definitely recommend going here. ThoughI’d suggest going with a large group if you plan on renting the igloo, there is a minimum spending fee and it would definitelybe more fun with more people! Read more

Vaso is a great place to relax and dine with drinks. The electrifying atmosphere as well as friendly and fun staff made my visit... quite enjoyable. The views are really nice, and the outdoor space is welcoming. The igloos are another added feature which isgreat for private parties up to 8. The drinks are very good, and the food is great as well. I would recommend this place toanyone looking to have a great time with friends or family. I look forward to returning soon. Read more
I liked most of the food. The Mexican corn and deviled eggs were tasty. The lamb was not that good. It was tough and a bit too... spicy, the sauce didn't help at all. Really liked the drink! Read more
The igloos are an amazing experience! We wanted to go for long. Unfortunately, we picked a very cold night and the igloo was... super cold. The heater was not enough to keep us warm. The food was really good! The service was outstanding. Only the cold wasthe issue. We'll try again next year before it gets too cold. Read more
