When I arrived with my family of 5 we were told we would have 10-15 minutes wait which was fine,but when I looked at all the... seating thay was available I thought why do we have to wait along with a few other groups thay walked in before and after us.Over a half hour went by and the hosts said thay we would have an additional wait time of 45 minutes. Imagine me a young choir boy from Italy visiting America for the first time. I come here for vacation and I fly into dubuque... Iowa to drive to Denver Colorado from here. My first taste at American cuisine was apple bees by the hospital. Well as they sayhere in the states location, location, location.... let me say the location near the hospital was perfect because it put me inthere. A dried up bad tasting steak that was leathery than a cows utter. I cried after it took 50 minutes to receive a meal ofto bite into a piece of cardboard. As I travel through Omaha now I wonder.... I had a great experience though Makenna was my server, I must say not only did I receive excellent service from her but everyone... working tonight did what they could to help in that regard. Makenna was a breath of fresh air with her bright smile and greatcustomer care. Food was good and no delays in getting it to the table fresh & hot. Never order delivery here. I try to give places extra chances, since everywhere is short staffed, but they used up all of the... chances. They rarely ever pack everything you order in the bag. When I pulled the food out of the bag, I was missing two kidsmeals. I called the store and said I would gladly pick up my food. They told me it was a driver problem and I would have to callthem. I called the delivery company and they told me it was a restaurant issue. I called Applebee's again and said they wouldnot give me a refund for the meals, but they would send a coupon in the mail. Now I am out $20, have to make the kiddos dinnerand nothing showed up in the mail. Read more
Little slow to be seated but I get it. Service was great, our waitress acted like she wanted to be there and always had a... smile. After leaving a local eatery (Copper Kettle) that claims to be high end because of awful service, we came here. We weretreated like they wanted us there.
