I love Jimmy Johns and the food is always great, but the reason why I am giving it 3 stars is because the delivery times have... been taking over for me. I understand that lunch hour is a busy time, but it takes them anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour tohave my food delivered... it is never freaky fast for me. Like ever. I will continue to support this location, but you guys needto be quicker about your delivery. I don't want to be difficult. Read more
This review is from a long time ago and although I still occasionally frequent this restaurant in general and this location... specifically it feels important to leave a review about my experience a few years ago. My brother introduced me to the place bytelling me about all kinds of baseball style lingo that was actually kind of entertaining. As an example, the employee behindthe counter will take the bread out of the sandwich and leave a hollow shell with the food in it, but, if you say, leave thedough, that means don't hollow out the sandwich bread. If you say, all the freebies, that means you got a range of sauces andvegetables that aren't normally added. Well, in any case, back then I was getting a number 7, leave the dough, all the freebies.It seems like every time they would miss something or add an extra ingredient. This happened five or six times until one day Icame in with my dad. I ordered the same sandwich I always order, and my dad asked for the same thing. As in, I would like thesame thing. They wound up making me the wrong sandwich, and then they made my dad a different wrong sandwich. I wanted to talkthis out with them, but a Bus full of soccer or football players got off and it was impossible to get to the counter. My dadwith the most upbeat attitude ate it anyway saying that even though it was wrong it still tastes nice. So, after about six orseven mistakes I tried calling to make a complaint. Someone returned my call but I missed it by only a second. I called back afew minutes later. I didn't know who it was initially and asked, and in response I was told if I check my answering machinemessages I would know already. So I want to let you know it was off to a bad start right from there. I didn't know cutting a pickle would take 10 mins to do! At least some prep! And they didn't seam that friendly, or eager to... get your food to you. They will also let other people take other people's good so make sure you have your own before leavingthe building! I'll try the other one in town if not it will be a long time before I'm back.
