I ordered a plain hamburger, a double cheeseburger, a big mac and a small fry in the drive through. I got home and found a... plain double hamburger, a big Mac with no sauce and a small fry with no salt. I went back and told them they forgot some of thethings I ordered and they wanted to dispute the recipt, which showed the wrong order. They said I got what I paid for. So Isaid fine! Give me a plain hamburger and a double cheese burger! And I paid again the second time around. I got home and hadnot a plain hamburger, but a cheese burger and a double cheese burger. Using the app is the best way to get your food at McDonald's. It is easy and quick. Just go through the drive through, give... them your code and proceed to pick up. The app also offers great deals you won't get on the regular menu. For example, throughthe end of May, one of the deals is 2 any size fries free with purchase of a 20 piece nugget. So go get the app! 2-yr-old granddaughter enjoyed a sausage egg biscuit with a chug of milk for lunch ???? and I appreciate this McDonald's on... Holiday Drive (and in Galena) having the hot mustard sauce for nuggets. I was really impressed with the service and speed, too. Read more
This McDonalds in Dubuque and by far the worst McDonalds I've ever had the misfortune of going to. Getting the right order via... Drive-thru is always a gamble. No other fast food joint has had a worse record than this particular McDonalds. The one on JFKhas always been solid, but this one has been a mess. But for the first time in years I decided to check out the place inside.What a mistake. I was literally the only person inside during mid-day. The place was absolutely filthy. Gummed up nozzles onthe soda dispensers, and the ketchup/napkin table was a disaster zone. I've never seen anything like it. An employee getting adrink commented how "people liked to make it messy" as if that was a comfort. Out of curiosity I tried the ketchup dispenser andout came a frothy orange substance which I promptly threw away. Most of the tables were not cleaned at all, found one that wasthe least offensive. My burger was fine but the fries were cold, practically lower than room temperature. Edit: Nearly a yearlater I want to update my review. Whatever the manager has done has worked. I bought a double quarter pounder a few days ago andit looked the photo on the menu. Might have been one of the best double quarter pounders I've ever had at McDonalds. Been here afew times between my review and now and its night and day difference. I would recommend this location now easily. Read more
