This was such a fun surprise!! I am from areas rich with East Asian food and was not expecting to find delicious Vietnamese food... in Dubuque?I was happily surprised. The pho was delicious. The dumplings were tasty as well, though a bit on the oilier side.Would have preferred slightly less of that. The service was great. Efficient and kind. Overall, a great experience! We stopped here for a snack after the farmers market and really liked it! The restaurant was so cute, the lights were neat. We... had the dumpling duo (2 different kinds) deep fried and lobster rangoon. Both were delicious and flavorful with yummy dippingsauces. The restaurant is beautifully themed, playing some very nice, calm music. The staff was EXCELLENT! Service was fast and the wait... staff polite and accommodating! The food? The food is where the magic is! We each ordered something different so we could try itall. We started with Lobster Rangoon and Sechwan Spicy Dumplings. Both were delicious. My son and I tried both and agreed thelobster Rangoon was the best Rangoon we've had! We ordered Pho, Pad Thai with chicken, medium heat and Japenese Stir-Fry Udonwith chicken and broccoli. We were looking for something that wasn't too upscale (aka requiring fancy clothes) but also we wanted something fancier than a... burger/pizza joint. Oolong hit the spot! The booths were a great place to tuck away and have great conversation over deliciousfood. This is the perfect place to take a best friend or groups of 4 or less so you can fit in the booths.
