Potato was cold and undercooked. Pie was flipped over on plate and looked like leftovers from pan. Coffee was cold. Seemed to be... only 3 people working. Only 2 other things small parties while we were there. Waitress/cook??? was dirty and waiter/host?? wasrude.. Will not be going back there. Read more
How can you go wrong at Perkin?s? I just wish they had them in Illinois too close to where I live near Joliet, IL. All-day... breakfast and great lunch and dinner menu too. Great portions and friendly staff. Always a great place to eat. Enjoy! Read more
To Who It May Concern, We frequent this Perkins and usually have phenomenal service. Tonight our food took forever, the host... was extremely busy helping with drinks and cleaning tables, and after sitting for about an hour we asked Darius (he was hosttonight) if he could check on the status of our order. He disappeared and we assumed he went to the back to assist with cooking.Few minutes later we hear yelling; we saw a man (don't know name; wearing a bandana) screaming at Darius to "Just shut up! Idon't need your help and neither does Amy; you can just leave!!" The altercation was out of character compared to the normalservice we receive. Thank You. Read more
I will never go to this place again. The waitress acted like she didn't want to be there, plus rolling her eyes when taking our... order. We ordered the big country with eggs hard but we got it with eggs very under cooked and running. When paid, the girl atregister had a snipping attitude. We came in with 4 adults and 4 children. It took about 5 minutes to be seated, they put 2 tables together. No big deal, a bigger... party takes longer I'm sure. The waitress was the issue though, she was taking our orders and was rolling her eyes when writingit down or if someone asked a question or took too long. My son didn't want asparagus with his meal, she said he can substituteit for something else. We were never here before and he's 11, so I asked what the sides were. She said "anything that's on thesides part of the menu." So I had to grab my menu and find where the sides are then read them off to him to choose. This was ourvery first time here and I don't want to go back. The waitress should know off hand what the sides are - it would have takenless time for the order. The meal was good but just one bad waitress can cost a company a lot. We weren't asked for drinkrefills either, I'm honestly not sure if they are free or not but if we had to pay that was fine but she was nowhere to be seenuntil the check came.
