We went before the symphony. They are supposed to have 1/2 price drinks before the symphony. We inquired about this and we're... told no they do not have anything special before the symphony. We are very disappointed as it is clearly in the symphonyprogram book begging patrons to visit before the symphony. Edit: Management reached out and have stated they have gone over thepromotion with their staff. We will try again in May when the next symphony will be taking place. I will update afterthat. First time eating here and the food was ok but not overly good. The problem was the waitress took forever to serve us and after... she brought the ticket to pay we waited for over a hour to pay. Finally got up to pay and she was like ohh im sorry boutthat.. so because of the wait when we were the only ones there i will not go again . Read more
Had the breakfast buffet both days we were staying at the Holiday Inn (attached). The restaurant was very accommodating for us... with our kids, even when it was busy they opened up a section that otherwise seemed closed off so we could fit. Bonus stars tothe kind lady who, when they had seemingly run out of the one cereal my kid wanted, chased us down with one to go after we hadleft. Read more
We ate here last night before the Kip Moore concert after being sat it took our server a good 20 minutes to even acknowledge us... and then when our food came out my mashed potatoes were cold like they just came out the refrigerator and my steak in the middlewas cold my friends pasta was greasy the bottom of the skillet was covered in grease and the server didn?t even come and ask ushow our food was we had to get another server to go get our server so we could just get our check and leave without eating I dinot recommend this place Read more
We met up for a couple of drinks with some friends who were in town. The beer selection is decent but the bar service (time to... get drinks after placing an order) was insanely slow, and this was on a Tuesday night so their only limited business was fromhotel patrons. It decided to train while we were there so we decided to eat at the restaurant instead of venturing out. They nowhave a Bennigan's shadow kitchen so there are several items from Bennigan's offered. The food was pretty good, but again, reallyslow coming. I had the ribs and they were decent. The prices were also rather high for the level of service. Overall, it wasn'tbad, but you can get better food and much better service in Dubuque for the same or less money. Read more
My wife and I ordered the American Burgers with fries. The burgers tasted very good. The seasoning on the burgers was the... right amount and did not overpower the overall flavor. The one minor thing I would change would be the amount of lettuce thatcame with the burger. They gave enough lettuce for a few burgers. Again, very minor inconvenience since I just set aside theexcess lettuce. I found the fries tasty and well cooked. My wife wished more came with the meal, but that's just her being heras she loves potatoes. Service was very friendly and the dining room was comfortable. We would definitely go back and orderthe burgers again. Read more
