I had my first disappointing (not so great) prime rib here.... a 16 oz prime rib ordered medium. It ended up being well done... according to their standards (no pink at all) and lacking the usual flavor. I thought it would get more tender and flavorful asI worked my way towards the center. Unfortunately, it was consistent throughout. I was offered a $5 discount or a new steak. Fora couple different reasons, I accepted the $5 discount. Everything else was very good, as usual. My husband and I love eating at Texas Roadhouse. We have never had a bad meal or bad service. The wait staff are always friendly... and checking with us frequently.
