Dined here with my partner on a Saturday afternoon during sunset. Off-season is lovely, it was not busy at all and we got to... enjoy a very quiet dinner together. Paige took very good care of us and was so amazing to us - we discovered some ants on thewall by our table so she gave us a discount on our bill. I had the fish special (cobia - delicious!!) and my partner had thechicken breast. We both immensely enjoyed our meals and got the peanut butter pie to go which was to die for. What a special night we had, everything was utterly perfect. From the seared tuna, fresh crab cakes, roasted duck, local legend... JB waiting on us hand and foot w excellent timing and dinner suggestions, to top it off they sang us Happy Birthday and gave usthe most delicious chocolate creation I have ever had. Read more

Excellent by all accounts and so far the best restaurant we’ve tried in Duck, NC. Excellent staff attention, delicious food,... well plated, and fast services despite how busy it gets. To top it all off, aqua offers gorgeous views of the sunset from theiroutside seating (first come first serve so come early!). They also have live music outside on the weekends and the restaurantconnects to the water walkway that can lead you to other shops and food places. This is always a pleasant experience. Our servers are always very warm and chatty, and helpful with the menu. The food is very... well done, though the lunch menu doesn't have tons of options. My husband ordered their poke bowl with local tuna and I thebanging shrimp tacos. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals - both dishes had a good amount of meat and we're very flavorful.Their cocktails are also a favorite. Read more

Loved this place soooo so much. I had never been here previously even though I come to OBX once to twice a year. I wanted to... take my best friend somewhere special one of the nights we were in town to watch the sunset. This is THE spot for that. We wenton a Saturday and we’re worried it was going to be crowded but wanted to sit outside for the sunset. We got there a bit tooearly (around 5:30) and it was wayyyy too hot to sit outside, whoops. Reservations were full for inside seating BUT they have abar inside AND they have a little window to order drinks from the bar from the outside!!! The AC just felt nice so we found someseats at the bar to enjoy our dinner and drinks and took our time. Our original server was CJ on the outside and he was great wefelt bad leaving him for the AC, but Lucy at the bar was equally as awesome. Pacing was great for us, we like to enjoy ourdrinks and apps first and take out time. You HAVE to try AT LEAST ONE OF their dessert drinks! I had the AQUAlicious and myfriend had the Espresso martini. After dinner we went outside to watch the sunset and listen to a great acoustic artist. We had a party of 8 and a great evening. Dinner was artfully presented. The filet was cooked perfectly and the palenta was the... best I have ever had. Bread served beforehand was warm and delicious. My only regret was not saving room for dessert. Read more

A lovely high end restaurant in Duck with awesome sunset views on the sound. Reservations for 3 were impossible to get on a... Saturday evening when we visited. There is limited outside seating, but it proved to be a little too hot about an hour beforesunset. We did enjoy drinks and an appetizer in the air conditioned bar. The restaurant was only half full with empty tablesfor 2 or large parties of six. Seating options should be reviewed to accommodate more parties There was seating outside andlive music. The sunset views are worth the trip to Duck. However most of the shops along the boardwalk closed at 4 when manydinner seekers were wandering about. This was the last weekend of September, so this may have impacted merchants andrestaurants. Read more
