First time staying at the Sanderling Resort and decided to have dinner at their Lifesaving Station restaurant. The experience... was great. The food was some of the best I've ever had after more than a dozen trips down to the OBX. I had the Seared Ahi withShoestring Corn Risotto and Asparagus with a cup of the Blue Crab Corn Chowder. Absolutely delicious!!! The place is pricey, sobe prepared to spend $50-70 per person. Read more

While the place is expensive, it was very good. It had a quaint, southern feel. They messed up on our order, but they fixed it... quickly and comped it. I was very impressed with the level of service and quality of food. Would definitely go back andrecommend you make a reservation! Read more

Way over priced for the quality. I recommend going to town if you want to eat. Staff was amazing so helpful and friendly. They... probably were thr best part. For dinner expect to pay around $20-40 and breakfast $15-25. Read more

After my first visit to the LSS a year ago I wasn't at all impressed and even less sure on what to expect upon returning this... year. Long story short, this establishment has gotten its act together and become a contender among many other very popularestablishments along duck rd. I was not expecting such an orderly and organized effort in delivering such a high level ofcustomer service, after much observation and interaction with the staff, it was quite clear who was responsible for thisorganized 5 star effort being put forth, a manager by the name of Tasia. Not only was she clearly orchestrating a highlyorganized operation, she was following up with each table throughout the evening and making adjustments along the way to providethe ideal evening out. You don't need a steak knife for the filet Mignon here, the butter knife will more than suffice incutting through this exceptionally prepared entree, highly impressive! And what better to go with it but a perfectly preparedserving a mashed potatoes and gravy, let's also not forget the expertly prepared broccolini! Seriously, at this point there isnot a better steak in the area, so don't waste your time looking elsewhere. They have stepped up their game here, it's wellorganized and the staff clearly strive to provide a 5 star experience and my recommendation to Sanderling would be to hold ontoTasia, she is clearly running a tight ship! Another visit to come in the future. Cheers! Read more

So sad. I understand it’s such a hard road for places these days. But this cost $40+ dollars.. “fresh garden salad and... then the fresh shrimp cocktail” that shrimp still had ice on them. Horrible . So sad. I’m so sad for all restaurantsright now. And bc the guy was so sweet I tipped him well… but the food was so so undeserving. Read more
