It is unacceptable that this place doesn't have a higher rating. I got a half and half combo with the original and the secret... spicy. The staff were incredibly accommodating of my requests. The inside was very clean and well presented, I want to have acute date here sometime. The chicken was phenomenal...I couldn't eat it for 20 minutes (had to drive home), and yet even thesauced chicken was immaculately crunchy. The pickles were perfect, even though the chicken didn't feel oily. The combocomfortably fed two with some leftover to boot (admittedly we extended it by eating with rice, but come on...Korean friedchicken is perfectly paired with rice). Decided to try out a different location of bb.q Chicken, and there were some slight differences in the chicken wings. The flavor... I chose was the Gangjeong wings?it had a hint of cinnamon that you can taste, with a slight kick from the jalapeños. Overall itwas a delicious flavor, but I think the Spicy Galbi is still my favorite. The wings were slightly smaller than ones I?ve gottenfrom other locations but were still good. It was my first time trying the kimchi fried rice and I was surprised by how flavorfulit was! Overall, I had a pleasant experience. Read more
As far as Korean fried chicken goes, this place is great. I went right as they opened and ordered the Golden Original fried... chicken and my mother ordered the Honey Garlic chicken. Both were great! The only downside is the wait time, which isunderstandable since it?s freshly fried chicken but annoying when you?re hungry and have to wait around. The staff are friendlybut I think we went *too* early cause there were only two people waiting on tables and we had to wave around to get theirattention (we later found out they had a buzzer system). The interior is fairly decent, the floors were super sticky for somereason but at least I didn?t feel an inherent since of dirtiness when I went in. The physical location is somewhat odd, it?stucked into the corner of a dead parking lot next to what I can only describe as either a strip club or a night club. Horrible service & advice to the owner get rid of the server/cashier guy ?Min? from 04/14/22 eve. Straight out rude & racist!... And, clearly restaurant have additional sauce listed on the menu for $2 & when requested ?You? refuse to serve it. Why?? Can?treally comprehend the logic here. Korean fried chicken is decent, other joints are better. Trash bins are not served to thetable & waited 10 mins to be served, literally when the whole restaurant is empty. Read more
Don?t get me wrong. Food is good and consistent but this girl server that BARELY ever checked on us decided she wanted to charge... us 20% service charge. We had only THREE people. The THREE of us were charged 20%. Clearly on the receipt it stated they charge20% for FIVE people and over. So how did the girl counted five people in our group? Read more
We just moved here and found this seemingly awesome chicken joint. My husband has ordered from here 3 times in almost a week. We... called to make another order, he ordered his regular honey garlic and when I inquired if they had anything spicy, he said "no",I again asked if they had anything 'honey hot', again he said "no".. I get that we are all tired but we all still have to do ourjobs and apart of your job is customer service. The young man was annoyed and did not make any other suggestions. We order 20wings each time and wanted a spicy option but we guess he's had a long day and just wanted the phone to stop ringing. Too bad bcthe wings we had were exceptionally delicious, we will look for another wing joint. It starts with customer service and it's ashame when that outweighs the food. Amazingly tasty good! Drove by & stopped in; thought it wasa bit pricey but didnt want to look for another spot so decided to... give it a try. So happy i did. The best Korean fried chicken. Customer service was ok. They only checked on us once. I asked a guy for some sauce and he... forgot. Waited about 10 mins and had to go ask again. The prices are incredibly inflated. I think there?s a shortage on wings?But still. It used to be around $14 to eat here, now it?s $20. The portion size has dropped also for actual wings. They used togive a lot more. Although for boneless its still a good portion size. Again it?s the best Korean fried chicken I?ve ever had butI?m not sure I?d pay this price again. Read more
