We went for a desert, Concretes. A favorite frozen treat. The store was clean and neat. A few groups and families, but plenty of... table. We were greeted by they blank stare; no welcome, no 'how can I help you'. Nothing. So we ordered, give a total to pay, wepaid. It wasn't long and we had our deserts. There were some pretty nasty reviews on this place from recent time but regardless we decided to give it a shot! The food was... hot and perfectly cooked, the service was extremely fast and pleasant. The cashiers and management were incredibly helpful andthe custard was fantastic. I would say, extremely affordable, better than Steak ?n Shake and the food was served in the time ittook for us to sit down 5 minutes tops and our food was hot and ready. We dined in at the Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steak burger, Duluth, GA, as a family evening out. I ordered the doublebacon bbq steak burger, and my oldest daughter, ordered the original double patty melt. The steakburger and patty melt wereperfectly cooked and served hot. For the side, I ordered the onion rings, which I ate with the honey mustard sauce and mydaughter got the jalapeno fry sauce. We enjoyed our meals and left Freddy's satisfied. Freddy's steakburger was really, really,good. I would highly recommend for individuals or families to give Freddy's a try. 5 stars for customer service! I went through the drive thru a little after 10pm and I was pleasantly surprised about the... customer service. The guy was friendly and upbeat? it was my first time here, the cashier recommended #2 and I purchased a KeyLime Shake. The food needed a little more seasoning but overall good. I have never ever received the correct order at the store the first time through the drive-through. Pretty much every time I go... there is a long wait even if I?m the only one and they get my order wrong. Today I asked for a caramel sundae and an Oreo cookiewith chocolate. Got a chocolate sundae. Then they couldn?t find the Oreo ice cream cookies. Then she handed me a vanilla icecream cookie and I handed it back explaining I had asked for chocolate. When I finally got my ice cream and cookies they handedme the melted cookie in the picture below because apparently they were no prepared cookies and she made it on the spot. We decided to try this place on a Sunday around 3pm. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating; inside and outside. Hubby and I... had the California style burgers w/regular fries and chili cheese fries. Burgers were ok, we?ll try without the sauce next time.Chili was gross and watery.
