This is the first time I've actually dined in at Masterpiece as I always order takeout. I'll say this, the food is great as take... out but even better when you dine in. The food here was excellent. I really enjoyed the Dong po pork belly, mapo tofu, Dan Dan noodles and the Zhong style dumplings.... One of the best around. Everything tasted exactly how I wanted it to and totally fulfilled my craving. I like that you can tellthem what heat level you want for the mapo tofu. I ordered pickup and I love that they package the sauces separate so that thefood doesn't get soggy by the time you get home. 10/10 Read more
One of the best Sichuan Chinese restaurants in the area. The mapo tofu is so delicious, hitting all the different taste bud... sensors in your mouth. We also enjoyed the dry beef chow fun, chili oil dumplings, cold chili beef tendon, and salt and peppershrimp. The leftovers also heat up really well. Read more

Delicious food. If you like spicy, this is your place. We ordered 4 items, chilli chicken dry, cumin lamb, fish in chilli stew,... & diced chicken. This place is a very high quality restaurant. The food that they serve is top notch with flavors. Must try is the soup dumplings... for appetizers, then twice cooked pork for the entree. Food arrived very fast and service was great. Read more
Dongpo pork belly was a bit dry and tough rather than moist and tender. It was a bit too sweet for me. The lamb soup was... delicious but the lamb was a bit dry as well. I will try other dishes and see. The service was quick but I went during off peakhours. Thank you. Read more
I called in my order for three house special fried rice in the large container, $18.95 each. I also got two entrees one chicken... and one beef (medium sized). Total was $87.94. I know Chinese food has gotten more expensive in duluth. But what I didn’texpect was when I got home from picking up my food and opened the fried rice box it was neatly packed in a little pile in thecenter of the box. This was a medium-small sized portion in a large box. I was so upset I have never received such a smallportion size, usually the white boxes are filled to the top or even overflowing. I had 7 people to feed and had to grab thewhite rice they gave me and mix it with the fried rice to compensate for the lack of food. Bottomline- they are selling largeboxes of fried rice but only actually giving out a medium sized pile and once again it’s not cheap!!!! Read more
