I made the mistake of stopping in late afternoon at the beginning of my 2.5 hour drive home. The one donut selection that was... available was dry and tasteless. The coffee I asked had to be made fresh and was undrinkable. I threw both away and left. Thatwas my late in the day, end of the shift experience. I do not imagine that it was typical. Since I am usually not in Duluth inthe morning and am usually looking for coffee late in the afternoon after a day of medical appointments and shopping and wantthe caffeine for the drive home, I will probably not visit Dunkin' again unless it is earlier in the day when the donuts arefresh(er.) I don't normally review chain restaurants, part of their whole appeal is the consistency and uniformity no matter where you are,... so I've never really seen the point. This Dunkin' location, however, went so far above and beyond I had to take the time to givethem 5 stars. I recently ordered breakfast from this Dunkin' on DoorDash, but part of my meal had been substituted with aningredient I'm allergic to. I called the store, not upset at all, but just to let them know what happened and see if I could geta replacement through DoorDash, or even just a refund. It happened to be the location's manager who answered my call, who saidshe wanted to make my order right and, in order to do so, drove across town to hand-deliver me a new breakfast sandwich. Thatgesture went so far beyond anything I'd hoped for and genuinely meant so much to me. She absolutely did not have to do what shedid, but in doing so it showed me that this Dunkin' is managed by someone who genuinely cares about their customers. As someonewith a number of dietary restrictions/allergies this seriously meant so much to me, and I had to leave this review both to showthe store itself how immensely appreciative I am, as well as to let others know how much this location rocks. Good atmosphere with excellent service but Dunkin certainly is not the same as other (real) coffee shops. Ice coffee here means... a little bit of flavored coffee with a bunch of ice cubes meaning at the most you get only 1/3 cup of liquid. Read more
Consistently horrible service. Staff is young and rude with minute customer service skills. out of stock 80% of the time. I am... currently leaving Dunkin Donuts right now and the cashier literally threw my change at me and have had this same cashiermultiple times and she is always very rude. This Dunkin location needs to clean house and hire competent employees, likeyesterday! I am, and have been a faithful customer, however, if this continues I will not be. Please fix this situation. Went to Dunkin for donuts this morning but alas! They had no donuts. Ridiculous and I won?t be going back. The employees were... fine but this is ridiculous. Didn?t even get all of what we ordered either - two snackin bacons and we got one and a hash brown.Terrible! Read more
Love me somedunkin! Only down side is I wish they would put tamper seals on items when order through door dash! Last order I had... the person picked it up and I got 4 donuts that they took a bite out of and put back in my bag! Other wise I love this place...try the orange blood drink!!! Read more
Got my order wrong twice. Had to wait almost 30 minutes for the replacement. It wouldn't have been a big deal if they didn't sit... there and take orders from the drive-through with people who came 10 minutes after those in line inside the building alreadywaiting. I understand being busy, but kinda ridiculous to mess up an order twice. Not going back for a long time. Read more
I pick up door dash orders here regularly and it seems like delivery orders aren?t a priority. I?m constantly waiting 5+ minutes... on an order that should have been ready by the time I arrived. When I address one of the employees about the order, they barelyacknowledge me and go about what they were doing. Delivery orders don?t pay much and as full time dashers being paid perorder(not hourly),we can?t afford to stand around waiting every time we arrive at a store. Read more
