"Scrambled eggs" that are actually just a diced omelette, on a day when all I wanted was scrambled eggs. Cute place. Nice... staff. Inspired me to begin a campaign against diced omelettes masquerading as scrambled eggs. Revolution! Update: Received areply from New London, committing themselves to the revolution. I am ALL about places that acknowledge that each of us have roomto improve on our scrambled egg game, so I'm increasing my rating. :) Read more

I was traveling alone and they sat me at a bar at the front window which is totally fine. Then they forgot about me for a while.... When I was finally able to order, I ordered the everything omelet. What I got was the veggie scramble. It was good but not whatI ordered. I could not flag down staff to correct it and I wanted to get to my next destination so I just ate it rather thanwait and stay hungry. I get that they were really busy on a Sunday. The food tasted good. The service . . . not so much. Read more

The food's pretty good. We ordered the French toast fitters & veggie omelette. The omelette taste really healthy, and the... potatoes & mushroom taste especially good. The egg is okay, rather lukewarm. The French toast supposed to come with eggs anystyle, but apparently you can't get it in omelette form or it will cost you extra. I'm hoping there will be more options liketurkey bacon or turkey links, or maybe even smoked salmon for the non pork eater. Read more

Parts of this experience were fantastic, and other parts were underwhelming. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise... sauce was thick and flavorful. The hash-browns were also delightfully buttery and crispy. Those were the clear highlights. Onthe other hand, the coffee was unremarkable. They were out of milk and cream, so we were given french vanilla coffee matecreamers. The french toast fritter was cold and dry. It didn?t have much flavor. My partner?s breakfast potatoes weren?t fullycooked, and the English muffins were untoasted. With a little extra care, this meal could?ve been terrific. We are happy towait longer for good food. Overall - we left feeling full and somewhat satisfied. Read more

We visited the New London Cafe for the first time yesterday, and heartily enjoyed the atmosphere, food and the service. I had... the eggs Benedict, my husband had biscuits and gravy- delicious! Coffee was tasty, too. We hope to try the lunch menu next time! Read more

Cute little cafe. We went on a Saturday morning and it was very busy, highly recommend the new london potatoes, do not recommend... the eggs Benedict. A little pricey, but not terrible. Staff was very friendly. Read more
