As a fan of Japanese cuisine, I can't believe we just discovered this place. We frequently visit Duluth, but don't typically get... up over the hill for dining. This restaurant serves up outstanding sushi, tempura, and some very creative rolls. The North Shoreroll was so delicious as served, it never met up with soy sauce or wasabi, which I almost always use to add flavor. The Bajaroll was very spicy and tasty. One in our party had a salmon Bento box. The salmon was perfectly prepared and the accessoriesall savory. We'll make this a regular stop on future trips to Duluth. Read more

Every sushi roll was scrumptious! All had their own taste and texture, so good ???? Our waiter was so nice, hospitable,... knowledgeable on the types of sushi and made the best recommendations. We had the Sweet n Crunchy (yellow sauce), the WarriorRoll (green onion on top), the Crunchy Shrimp (orange fish eggs on top) and a Spicy Dragon (red dot on top). Great service. Attentive staff. Super clean and crisp inside. I should?ve checked the menu prior. I came for nigiri raw sushi.... The quality was there with the limited options. The tilapia tasted farmed. The rice portion was way too big. The rice shouldn?toverwhelm the fish. Nice house sake. We went there yesterday and it was so great that we came back today. The Sushi is very delicious and the variety of rolls is... creative. I tried the Ramen today and that was terrific too. The guys working there are very considerate and authentic, it waseasy to feel welcome. Long story short, if you are around go there. Read more
