To whom may receive this message. I want to take the time to express the discomfort I experienced tonight at the KFC address,... 17450 Jefferson Davis Highway, Dumfries, VA 22026. My total order came out to be 47.39. I gave the cashier 100.00; he changedit out to all 20s and gave me 40.00 back before putting the money in the register and then rang my order for 60.00 and gave meback 2.61. After I received my order, I asked for a recipe; I received a duplicate receipt, and when I brought it to hisattention that he did not give me back the correct change, his demeanor changed, and he became nervous. He had to get the moneyfrom the young lady who went into her pocket. When I contacted the store to talk to the manager, he was very unprofessional andbelligerent. His name is Yam. When I asked for the district manager's contact number, he could not provide me with theinformation, and when I informed him that I would be in contact with the corporate office, he told me so what. The reason forthis message is to ask if this is the way KFC does business and if so, I strongly recommend that you change your business modeland retrain the staff at this location immediately because I believe that this is not a mistake and that this is standardpractice at this location. Going through drive way, when placing order, the person taking order was very rude. After going to window to pay, she kept on... going. I won't give a name as I don't want the person to lose her job, but as for me this KFC is off limits, never will I setfoot there. Customer service is everything,, without it the food ain't food. I've never been a big fan of KFC. The chicken is okay, but it does seem like the chicken has been getting smaller over the... years. Which is strange because I thought all of the chickens were hopped up on growth hormones these days. Some of the peopleat the drive-thru can be very . . . abrupt. They'll take your order, you'll get your order, but you kind of feel like you'vebeen yelled at. On Friday I pulled into the driveway at 9:30PM. I tried to order a 8pc meal. When I requested that I have wings. I was told that... they have plenty of thighs and drumsticks but that I would not be getting a single wing. Why do you ask? Because they hadalready started cleaning up and did not feel like working and making me some wings to go into my 8pc meal order. I said, ?Soyou?re telling me I can?t get a single chicken wing because you don?t feel like cooking anymore tonight, 30 minutes before youeven close for the evening?? Yes, the store employees said. I just don?t feel like doing that. We have cleaned up everything.If this is your idea of working, just go home. You don?t deserve to have a job. I rarely rate fast food places because they are somewhat ubiquitous. You cannot expect 5 star service from a fast food... restaurant. However, I am taking time to rate this one because the few times I have been there, they have always been politeand friendly, plus they have always gotten my order correct! This KFC is managed well.
