Ate there for the first and last time yesterday. Had to ask for a clean fork 3 times and finally got one on the 3rd try. The... food was horrible and I found a hair in the green beans which I took a picture of. How this place passes DHEC inspection is apuzzle to me. I wouldn?t recommend this eatery to a hungry dog! We went in to eat at around 1:00pm on a Sunday afternoon. The host asked us how we were and I said, "good, how about you?" and... he took a deep breath and said, "busy, like chickens with our heads cut off". I looked around this little restaurant and sawmaybe twenty people inside and thought...if this is "busy" I don't know how they stay open. We both ordered diet coke to drink.The waiter informed us that they had diet pepsi, which is fine...who cares? Then when they brought our drinks out both drinkstastes very different. I thought, this is unusual that two drinks...both ordered at the same time...would taste different. Ijust got a glass of water. We ordered our food I got the salad bar with my meal. The salad bar was low on some stuff and thestuff that was on there was a little warm and wilted. None of the dressings were labeled. My meal came with three sides and Iordered two intentionally to see if the waitress would point out that I get a third. Instead of pointing that out, she just putmy order in and the kitchen decided to double up one of my sides. It was an interesting concept. I don't really have an opinionabout what happened there. I'm just reporting the facts LOL. This is me being nit picky again, but my companion ordered abacon, ham and cheese omelet. What came to our table was a bacon, ham and cheese scramble. This isn't such a big deal. It justtells me that a restaurant that serves breakfast all day didn't have one cook on a Sunday that knows how to turn an omelet. Thatis bad for business. Overall, I gave this place two stars. Out of five stars, two and a half stars would be average...middleof the road. This place was below that. I wouldn't waste my money again. Read more
The food was tasteless, I wouldn't go back not because it was a bad experience, but because I didn't feel like enjoying the... food, the salad was good though. 5 stars to the server who was amazingly kind and attentive. Read more
Went to this restaurant a couple of days ago and my wife and I loved the food so much! There was a nice young lady serving us... and she was very nice and customer oriented. We had a bacon double cheese burger plate, peach cobler, collared Greens and friedGrouper. Can't wait to return. Read more
This place is a no-fuss old timey diner. The atmosphere is nothing to look at. But the prices were good and the food is superb.... Strangely, they don't serve breakfast at certain times, which is why I normally go to a diner over a burger place. Read more
