The food was good, but the place was dirty
We usually like to eat here. Ordered sandwiches and sides. Got home . Husband didn't want to eat the "potato salad" (ps). I... tasted it; not ps (figured it was the potato casserole [pc]) and SALT. Went back 7/11/18 to make sure that ps was on the menu.Asked lady behind the counter to show me her ps. I peeked around the blocked glass and asked if it was the yellow stuff; yes, itwas. Then I explained what happened (wrong item). She says, "so what do you want us to do about it?" I told her "nothing & shejust lost a customer". What they should do: Retrain the kid that messed up my order (old enough to know the difference betweenps and pc); cut the attitude (Any other business would have apologized for the mix up; and I wasn't asking for replacements).Locals in red oak say that Dickies is bad too. Yes, they are more expensive and their portions are smaller. We will be partakingbbq at Colter's. As an add-on, if you're determined to eat at dickies, go to waxahachie. This place will close soon. Mark my word. I ranked it higher 9 months ago, it's gone downhill. The roll I got was old and hard.... They were stingy with the portions of their sides, but that's ok. The mac n cheese and beans were terrible. The restaurant washot and muggy. We had trouble finding a clean table... overall... I really don't see this place lasting another year. They cantpossibly survive with all the better BBQ places around the area. Sorry. Read more
