The employees were courteous I had to wait in drive thru for 15 minutes behind a customer disputing their order. Instead of... asking that customer to pull forward and coming out to speak with him, they allowed this conversation to continue while othercustomers waited and some drove off. I drove around to the speaker a second time to give them an opportunity to provide analternative for me not to continue waiting in drive thru, no such luck. Finally, I get to the window, the manager confirmed myorder, they apologize again, and I drove off. I get half way home and discovered they had given me the WRONG order. I called,and went back for the correct order. This is what I received, a cold dry brisket breakfast sandwich. I am DONE! Read more
The place has so much potential. But the food quality was not there for me. The mac and cheese tasted like boxed mac and cheese... I was expecting more of a homemade mac and cheese. The corn was too watery almost like it was a soup. The pulled pork it was achopped pork sandwich instead of pulled pork and the sandwich was falling apart. It's a very nice place and it's very clean. Y'all see how big and deep that potatoes is....and that baby was full pulled pork, sourcream, green onions, cheese, bacon and... bbq sauce.....I'm so full. One daughter had the pulled pork sandwich and fries the other had the same thing I had on my potatoeson her fries. Loaded! Delicious ????????!! We will be back with 3 large drinks. Now if these servings were small I would havewanted my 40.00 back I was not expecting to spend that much for my kids lunch break...they got me this time???????? but it waswell worth it. Went through the drive through at the Duncanville location tonight. Spent 10 minutes in line only to be asked to pay and... pull-up. Where I sat for another 15 minutes. I ordered a chopped beef sandwich w/fries and an order of chopped beeffries?nothing fancy or unusual. But folks behind me kept pulling away with their food. When I finally got home with mysandwich, it was actually a chopped FAT sandwich. And Pappas? definition of ?chopped? must be the laziest way to do it?.bigchunks of ?meat? falling off a sandwich. Of course it didn?t help that the bun was soggy and falling apart. Spent $30 and nowI?m gonna make a peanut butter sandwich. With the ?Pappas? name you really should be better than this. Seriously disappointed &definitely would NOT recommend! In this economy, spending hard earned money to eat out is a definite privilege and it will neverbe wasted at a Pappas BBQ ever again. Read more
Texas BBQ is the best! It really is ???? I ? brisket and Pappas cooks it very well. It literally melted in my mouth ???? My 2... sides were mac & cheese and Texas dirty rice. Y'all need to try that rice, it's bursting with all kinds of flavors. You can alsoget sandwiches, ribs, chicken, dessert and all kinds of other delicious things. You won't be disappointed at all ???? I had the wings for the 1st time & it?s a NO a for me! They were DELICIOUS in flavor, but for as being cooked on a smoker: I... NEED them done! Now, for the price I paid, this really wasn't a good experience. Food was cold, brisket was soggy, ribs big and unpleasant.... Fries ???? are grocery bought. The presentation is and atmosphere was very pleasant. It was very clean inside and the managermade sure the staff wore gloves and masks. Read more
