Nice private and lively atmosphere with some good music and it seems like live music. Food is surprisingly bland however, and... the portions are very small for the price. Ordered Cajun poppers for 11$ and we got four fried shrimp with some sauce andjalapenos. Tiny. Catfish burger was very bland and the catfish filet barely covered the bun. The restaurant is also covered inphotos of crawfish but there isn't a crawfish dish to be found. Maybe come here for some drinks (I wouldn't expect them to bethat good) and the live music, but if you want some good Cajun I'd look elsewhere Read more

I was actually surprised the food wasn't better after reading reviews. It wasn't bad at all, but definitely not what I... anticipated. I ordered the wings and red beans to go. I had to add seasoning to wake it up. The chicken was fried perfectly withan amazing crunch. It was just very bland. It came in a greasy paper bag, and I just knew it was about to be fire lol The redbeans were basically just beans in broth- it was more like a soup which was also bland. When your banker/friend suggests meeting at Thibodeaux’s for a business lunch meeting you oblige them. Today was the perfect... day! The weather was beautiful, the vibe was on point, the food was amazing, the company was great and the service wasexceptional????. Between Ms. Sue, Nicole and the gentleman whose name I didn’t get, the three of them made this experienceone to write about. When I say the vibe was on point, trust me if you’re looking for a sports bar, a nice chill spot withgood food and service or a place to enjoy live music… then Thibodeaux’s is the place. Ms. Sue and Nicole mentioned that DonDiego plays there every Tuesday at 7pm. If you haven’t experienced Don Diego’s music you should definitely stop in. There’s a very friendly and accommodating staff, a full bar, live music, a dance floor and FREE Swing Out lessons on Mondaynights. All this under one roof right here in Duncanville. I’m impressed!! Nice and chill spot for some dope Cajun food! Counter and servers were friendly and ensured if we had any questions on the menu.... I had the catfish and it was crispy with fries and bread. My husband and I went here for Sunday dinner. (It was suggested by a friend)Our first impression… Very Clean! The cashier... (Donna) was very friendly and welcoming. She suggested I order the combo meal since I was so indecisive. I ordered the catfish &wings combo. My husband ordered 20 wings and onion rings. ( lemon pepper & hot flavored) I must say the catfish was friedperfectly! Crispy & flavored to perfection! My husband onion rings was so good, I ate a couple and wanted more. I'll probably never eat Buffalo Wild wings or Wing stop again after this place! It put other wing spots to shame while offering... a great atmosphere and service. The food is cooked to order so it takes longer than most places, but it's worth the wait.Definitely highly recommended. Read more

I was invited for a dinner to celebrate a birthday. I was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere. The live band (party crashers)... was fantastic. The DJ thought he was funny...he kinda was. The waitresses we're nice. We had Princess and Mercedes(onlybriefly). Food was hot and delicious. I wanted to sample everything on my first visit, but I didn't. It was a nice size crowdand the food still came out quick. Oh and they serve REAL catfish! The drinks were ok ,but I believe I ordered the wrongthing(Cajun suicide) cause whatever my sisters were having had them in heaven lol.
