It's Good If you want to get sweet bakery. The way the cashier works made me feel "dispatched", could be my impression.
I am originally from NJ and now live in MD. I came here today after passing by this bakery many times on my way to work. The... outside decor is fairly outdated and when I went indoors the inside of the bakery was equally as outdated. It also had a weirdmusky smell when I first entered. I ordered a key lime pie cupcake and a strawberry shortcake cupcake. Both cupcakes werereally good. I think if this location updated it's decor it was be on point. Was introduced to this backery by my coworker and evertime i am in maryland i just have to stop and get me a slice or whole... strawberry short cake. Even though it has a lil more icing than i would like the cake itself is moist and not overly sweet. Theyhave a ton of different pastry but i mainly go for the strawberry shortcake. Read more

I filled with nothing but gratitude with Herman?s bakery. This is por first time and I am extremely pleased. We had another... bakery for our daughters sweet 15 and they canceled our order two days before the event. After googling around we found Herman?sbakery and they were extremely accommodating and empathetic they young lady who took our order was extremely sweet profesionaland walked us through it all. This cake truly exceeded our expectations and more and the flavor delightful. Herman?s Bakerythank you making my daughter special day one very special with this beautiful cake. Read more
I am very disapointed with the birthday cake that I ordered from Herman's Bakery on 6/1/21 and picked up on 6/4/21, we took cake... with us to Ocean City. The cake was to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday. My daughter and granddaughter live out of stateand were here for two weeks. The cake cost $36.99. The problem was no one liked the cake, stating it tasted dry and did notlike icing. I had to agree it did not taste good. I was embarrassed, wanted it to be a special early birthday. I don't get tocelebrate my granddaughter's birthday with her because she lives in another state. I called Herman's Bakery and requested arefund not a store credit. I did bring the rest of cake back home, and finally threw it in kitchen trash can. The manager hasrefused to give me any refund. Herman's Bakery was a fine bakery years ago, but not the same anymore. This is my childhood favorite place to go so I had to visit today during my trip from Florida. I was so happy to see so many... people showing this historic establishment. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to visit to support the wonderful deserts.You will not be let down! SOOOOOOO......we FINALLY visited here ! after passing by here so MANY... times over the YEARS ! and NOW living in the AREA, we decided to FINALLY stop by AND SEE WHAT ALL THE FUSS WAS ABOUT! ithappened to be MY MOM'S FAVORITE PLACE CONSEQUENTLY ! AND She also HADN'T been here in MANY years AS WELL ! so of course, shewas VERY EXCITED ! She's been talking about how she's been wanting to get to Herman's bakery now ever since we moved over here 6months ago ! ???? So INTO Herman's we WENT ! LOL ???? EVERYONE was VERY FRIENDLY and ATTENTIVE ! ???? WE tried JUST ABOUT everydessert they make ! LOL ???? NOT A PLACE TO GO IF YOU'RE TRYING TO KEEP YOUR DIET IN CHECK! LMBO ???? THE VERDICT: everybody hastheir OWN RECIPE ! ???? What one person has a taste for, someone else MAY NOT ! Such as life ! I'm used to the "Giant Brand" chocolate meringue, that's been myfavorite so far, I like it the Best ! it's smooth ,light , creamy and delicious ! And best of all... it's not sickening sweet ! ???? The cookies here were of course ALL GOOD ! The sugar cookies were MY FAVORITE ! ???? I got sugar cookies ,peanut buttercookies and m&m cookies ! Had to try them all ! ???? You wait ALL THESE YEARS to visit a place, you BETTER MAKE it WORTH THESTOP ! LOL ???????????? we spent a total of about $32 in desserts, including my MOM'S FAVORITE ,which was the strawberryshortcake ! that's her FAVORITE ! An $8 block serves 4 people adequately !
