My boyfriend and I visited one of our favorite restaurants even while out of state (we're from NJ). The food was great, even... fresher than in NJ. The food tonight was excellent, i got an 11oz sirloin med well and it was cooked to perfection, not dry and very tender. The... rice was also well cooked. Waitress was a sweetheart, and interacted with us other then what can i get you, is the food ok.. shewas upbeat even though she was having a bad night. Definitely recommend going here. I decided to dine alone on this nice Sunday,at the bar, and Forrest and Kathie were super friendly. I ordered a glass of... The dinner rolls at this restaurant are delicious, which is why I decided to place a to-go order on my way home from work. I... ordered one dozen rolls and a loaded sweet potato. It was ready 20 minutes early, which is great. What's not great is that Ionly received nine rolls. I was three rolls short. Didn't find that out until I got home. So disappointed. Next time, I'llremember to count the rolls before I leave. I did a quick check of my order, by making sure I had rolls, cinnamon butter and myloaded sweet potato, before I walked away from the window. If anyone orders rolls, make sure to count them before you leave therestaurant. Taking one star off, for being shorted. Read more
Depending on what location you go to the food can be good and consistent. But there are locations that make you never want to... eat there again. Looks at the reviews if your out of town and want to hit one up. The Dundalk Maryland location is consistentlypositive for me. Read more
Visited on a Saturday "dinner rush" (about) 4:30pm. A LIVELY waiter (who was in training) took our order (for 2) . I ordered a... Martini... they said they were " all out of martini's" ????????.. (we should have left then) but... we ordered at 4:30. Theplace was NOT CROWDED... full... but not ridiculous. Folks came in after us... ordered and were receiving their food and wewere STILL WAITING.... so engrossed in conversation ( 1st date) ... we realized an HOUR HAD PASSED... AND THE PEOPLE WHO CAME INAFTER US WERE DONE AND LEAVING!! The manager gave us a $30 "COME BACK HERE & EXPERIENCE OUR NIGHTMARE " certificate. I asked toadjust our bill and pack our food TO GO because we didn't have time to eat it at that point (5:30). Here i am, 2 days later,just opened my TO GO and the grilled onions for my steak are GRILLED ONION SKIN!! LITERALLY UNPEELED ONION! I suggest you visitANOTHER LOCATION.....
