Hostess was very sweet and our server was fantastic. We normally avoid the dinner rush when eating out as we have a toddler,... but our server was friendly, speedy/efficient, perfect timing for every aspect of our meal and honestly read our minds at somepoints. Eight of us went there for my spouses birthday on a Friday night. We had been there in the past several years ago and were not... impressed with service or the food but we thought that we would try this place again Our server Annisa was fantastic. She wasvery courteous and very efficient. Six of the people that were there with us were very impressed with the food. The lastseveral times at other East Side locations or take out they said the food had been sub par but here they said it was deliciousand will come back. They even let us bring in our own cake which they brought out and sang Happy Birthday to my spouse. The onlycomplaint that we had was that there were no blinds to block the sun. Great experience and good food! I’m never disappointed with East Side, originally I am from the West coast so we do not have... this restaurant in BC. My 3rd time coming to this chain restaurant and it’s always my first choice! We had a lovely server,Unfortunately I cannot remember her name. I give a 10/10! Update: I see that another review was talking about the screamingchild. I was there at the exact time. It was not that bad, and there is not much the restaurant, etc can do. I enjoyed my timethere!! The only thing we enjoyed of our dinner here was the bread. Otherwise didn't have the best of experiences here recently. The... side plates on our table were dirty, apart from the dried out drops of water on them, there were actual food on a couple ofthem. Our bottomless salad was not as appetizing as it used to be years ago. Very obvious it wasn't made fresh: squished and oldtomatos and lettuce. Once we asked for a second serving of salad, instead we were brought our main meals and simply ignored ofour ask for more salad until we reminded them. My cocktail tasted and felt like just juice. Will not be coming back unless thereis a big change to the way things are run. Read more

Really enjoyed our dinner at East Side Mario's. I had the Hell's Kitchen Chicken and it was spicy but quite tasty. My wife had... an Alfredo dish which she also enjoyed. The service was friendly and attentive. We were offered another round of breadsticks andsalad without prompting which was nice. I'll be back! Read more
Went to East Side Mario’s in Dundas to celebrate our anniversary. We had not been there since prepandemic. My husband... enjoyed scallops and I liked the veal. The salads and bread ???? were fresh and abundant. Good food, good value, but the bestpart of our experience was the service. Fran, our server, facilitated our fun with prompt attention, efficiency, a winningsmile and great humor. The complimentary desserts were “over the top” delicious. I would highly recommend. Read more
