Ordered a custom salad through Uber eats and it was absolutely horrible. I order a large salad ($14) and the container was half... filled. When I opened it, every single piece of lettuce, and there weren’t many pieces to begin with, were rotten. Thehalloumi was hard. And 90% of the salad was the cucumber, green pepper and onion. Tried pita for the first time. I was doing the food delivery on skip the dishes and was hungry after a morning shift. So, I... decided to give it a try. The pita was very delicious. I tried falafel pita. The person preparing the pita for me was veryfriendly and I was trying pita for the first time so, he helped me to make a good pita. The store was very neat and clean. Don’t get me wrong, I love pita pit, but this was my first time going to this location and it was not great. Pita was well... structured, all the ingredients were there (I think), but there was WAY too much sauce. My entire pita only tasted like hotsauce cause it was drenched. And the rice bowl was basically a ranch dressing soup. Not sure if this is a location thing or ifit was just the person working at the time (1:30 on Sunday, August 15) but I have never had that much sauce on my orders, noteven close. Just tell whoever was working at that time to put about 1/3 of the sauce they did. Thank you! Read more
Management seems to think staffing a single employee is acceptable. I came at slightly off peak hours, only had a couple ahead... of me, and a delivery driver arrive after. The backlog was terrible. The driver eventually gave up and left without food. Don'tknow if the customer cancelled due to ETA or if the driver dropped the order because they could be making more money gettingmultiple other orders instead. If they can afford more staff but don't, shame on them. If they can't afford them, then what arethinking recently adding the store to delivery services? Seen a lot of places come and go in this neighborhood. Just one morefor the history books I guess. The food was great though. Absolutely fantastic experience ! It was my first time in a pita pit and was not sure on what to order. The staff was so helpful... and patient with me ordering. A staff member by the name of Deep made sure that I was taking fully care of, he walked throughwith all the toppings and made me feel very comfortable. The food was delicious. Overall I will definitely be coming back,highly recommended coming here if you are in the Dundas area. Read more
I am vegetarian and it was first time when I had pita in my life from this restaurant and simply it(falafal veg pita) was... amazing. The guy knew that I had no idea about pita hence he guided me through entire creation of pita. Restaurant interior wasalmost new and very clean during my visit. Must visit if you are fan of Pita! They put no meat in my pita. After one or two bites I noticed there was no meat. The girl behind the counter was quite snippy... and said “yea that’s you ordered” without even checking the grill to see if my meat was still on there. I would onlyrecommend this spot if you’re a vegan because they won’t give you the meat that you’ve paid for! Read more
